Ramesh Deo
Ramesh Deo (30 January 1926 – 2 February 2022) was an Indian film and television actor who worked in more than 285 Hindi films, 190 Marathi films and 30 Marathi dramas with over 200 showings in his long career. He also produced feature films, television serials and over 250 ad films. He also directed a number of films, documentaries and television serials. He received many state and national awards for his work. Early life Ramesh Deo was born in Kolhapur, Maharashtra on 30 January 1926. His ancestral roots are from Jodhpur in Rajasthan. His father was a judge of Kolhapur. His ancestors shifted to Kolhapur as his great grandfather and grandfather were both engineers. They had built the Jodhpur Palace. They were called by Chatrapati Shahu Maharaja to build the city of Kolhapur. His grandfather came down to become the chief engineer to Shahu Maharaj, and his father was his legal advisor. Mohan Choti
Mohan Choti (1935 – 1 February 1992) was an Indian actor who worked as a comedian in Hindi films. The name Mohan Choti came from a fictional character of the same name from the 1957 film '' Musafir'', in which he plays a tea shop delivery boy who sports a "choti" or traditional lock of hair on the top of his head. Biography Mohan Choti was born as Mohan Rakshakar to Constable Atmaram Rakshakar in 1933 at Amravati, Amravati District Maharashtra. He produced and directed two films — " Dhoti Lota Aur Chowpatty" and "Hunterwali 77". He also opened a restaurant which was called "Sawal roti ka; Dhaba choti ka". He also started Atta distribution unit called "Choti Walla Atta". He died on 1 February 1992 at the age of 57. Suman Kalyanpur (born as Suman Hemmadi;January 28th 1937) is an Indian playback singer, one of the best-known and most respected playback singers in India. Krishna Kalle
Krishna Kalle ( kn, ಕೃಷ್ಣಾ ಕಲ್ಲೆ; 18 December 1940 – 15 March 2015) was an Indian playback singer in Marathi, Hindi, and Kannada films. Childhood Kalle's family was from Karwar, Uttara Kannada. She was born and grew up in Kanpur, where her father was employed. At the age of 16, she began singing over the Kanpur station of All India Radio (AIR) and at stage performances in Uttar Pradesh, the state where Kanpur is located. Career When Kalle came to Mumbai to visit relatives, the singer Arun Date happened to hear her sing. Impressed, he introduced her to music director Yashwant Deo, who was then employed at the Bombay station of AIR. Deo composed a Marathi song that Kalle recorded, ''man pisaat majhe''. Mahendra Kapoor (9 January 1934 – 27 September 2008) was an Indian playback singer. In a long career spanning decades, his repertoire included popular songs such as ''Chalo ekbaar phir se Ajnabi ban jayen hum dono'' ( Gumrah) and ''Neele Gagan ke tale'' ( Hamraaz). His name however became most closely associated with patriotic songs including Mere Desh Ki Dharti in Manoj Kumar's film Upkaar. Mukesh Chand Mathur (22 July 1923 – 27 August 1976), better known mononymously as Mukesh, was an Indian playback singer. Mukesh is considered to be one of the most popular and acclaimed playback singers of the Hindi film industry. Sharda Rajan Iyengar (born 25 October 1937), shortly Sharda, is an Indian playback singer in the 1960s and 1970s. Bela Bose is an Indian dancer and actress who was active in Hindi films during the 1960s and 70s. Early life Bela Bose was born in Calcutta in a well-to-do family. Prithviraj Kapoor
Prithviraj Kapoor (born Prithvinath Kapoor; 3 November 1906 – 29 May 1972) was an Indian actor who is also considered to be one of the founding figures of Hindi cinema. He was associated with IPTA as one of its founding members and established the Prithvi Theatres in 1944 as a travelling theatre company based in Bombay. He was the patriarch of the Kapoor family of Hindi films, four generations of which, beginning with him, have played active roles in the Hindi film industry, with the youngest generation still active in Bollywood. His father, Basheshwar Nath Kapoor, also played a short role in his movie Awara.
