Hugo Blaschke
Hugo Johannes Blaschke (14 November 1881 – 6 December 1959) was a German dental surgeon notable for being Adolf Hitler's personal dentist from 1933 to April 1945 and for being the chief dentist on the staff of ''Reichsführer-SS'' Heinrich Himmler. Life Blaschke was born in Neustadt in West Prussia (now Wejherowo) and studied dentistry in Berlin and at the University of Pennsylvania. He trained as a dental surgeon in London and opened his own practice in late 1911. During World War I, he served as a military dentist in Frankfurt/Oder and in Berlin. After the war ended, he went back to private practice in Berlin. After treating Hermann Göring in 1930, Blaschke began seeing other top Nazi leaders for dental work. Blaschke then joined the Nazi Party on 1 February 1931. Göring recommended him to Hitler in 1933. Following the successful treatment, Blaschke became Hitler's personal dentist. Jarin Blaschke (born September 28, 1978) is an American cinematographer, best known for his work with director Robert Eggers. Wilhelm Johann Eugen Blaschke (13 September 1885 – 17 March 1962) was an Austrian mathematician working in the fields of differential and integral geometry. Education and career Blaschke was the son of mathematician Josef Blaschke, who taught geometry at the Landes Oberrealschule in Graz. After studying for two years at the Technische Hochschule in Graz, he went to the University of Vienna, and completed a doctorate in 1908 under the supervision of Wilhelm Wirtinger. His dissertation was ''Über eine besondere Art von Kurven vierter Klasse''. After completing his doctorate he spent several years visiting mathematicians at the major universities in Italy and Germany. Hanns Blaschke
Hanns Blaschke (1 April 1896 – 25 October 1971) was an Austrian lawyer and politician. A member of the Nazi Party (NSDAP), he served as ''Burgomaster, Bürgermeister'' (mayor) of Vienna from 30 December 1943 until 6 April 1945. He was convicted of treason after the end of the Second World War, but this judgement was overturned on appeal. Early life Blaschke was born in Vienna in 1896. The son of a tax officer, he studied electrical engineering at the Vienna University of Technology. His studies were interrupted in 1914 by the outbreak of World War I. Blaschke fought in the Austro-Hungarian Army until the end of the war and was discharged with the rank of ''Oberleutnant''. He resumed his studies and graduated in 1922 with a degree in engineering.
