Bikaner Development Authority
Bikaner Development Authority (BDA) is a government agency formed in 2024 by the Government of Rajasthan. It was created to manage and plan urban development in Bikaner city and nearby areas. The authority replaced the Urban Improvement Trust (UIT) and is responsible for tasks such as land use planning, approving building layouts, and developing public infrastructure. Bikaner () is a city in the northwest of the States and territories of India, state of Rajasthan, India. It is located northwest of the state capital, Jaipur. It is the administrative headquarters of Bikaner District and Bikaner division. Formerly the capital of the princely Bikaner State, the city was founded by Rao Bika, a Rajput Tribal chief, chief of the Rathore dynasty in 1488 CE and from its small origins it has developed into the fourth largest city in Rajasthan. Urban Improvement Trust
The Urban Improvement Trust (or UIT, ''नगर विकास न्यास'') is a type of statutory body in the state of Rajasthan, India, constituted for the purpose of promoting urban development. The power to create Urban Improvement Trusts was provided by the Rajasthan Urban Improvement Act, 1959. Deshnoke
Deshnoke is a town in the Bikaner district of Rajasthan, India. The town is famous for the Karni Mata Temple and was established by Goddess Karni-ji herself who led her followers to this region. History Source: The village was established on Vaisakh Sudi 2nd of Samvat 1476 (1419 CE) by Bhagwati Karniji Maharaj.
