Big Head Todd and The Monsters is a rock music, rock musical ensemble, band formed by Todd Park Mohr, Brian Nevin, and Rob Squires in 1986 in Colorado. The band has released several albums since 1989; their 1993 album ''Sister Sweetly'' went platinum album, platinum in the United States. The band developed a sizable live following, especially in the Mountain States of the United States. Career Early life and career The trio (music), trio had attended Columbine High School together. Mohr went to Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado and transferred to the University of Colorado Boulder, University of Colorado to join Nevin and Squires. The three had their first gig in 1986, at a college party at the University of Colorado. The Space Shuttle program was the fourth human spaceflight program carried out by the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), which accomplished routine transportation for Earth-to-orbit crew and cargo from 1981 to 2011. The Replacements (band)
The Replacements were an American rock music, rock band formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1979. The band was composed of the guitarist and vocalist Paul Westerberg, guitarist Bob Stinson, bass guitarist Tommy Stinson, and drummer Chris Mars for most of its existence. After two albums in the style of punk rock, they became one of the main pioneers of alternative rock with their acclaimed albums ''Let It Be (The Replacements album), Let It Be'' and ''Tim (The Replacements album), Tim''. Bob Stinson was kicked out of the band in 1986, and Slim Dunlap joined as lead guitarist. Steve Foley (drummer), Steve Foley replaced Mars in 1990. Chris Mars (born April 26, 1961) is an American painter and musician. He was the drummer for the seminal Minneapolis-based alternative rock band The Replacements (band), the Replacements from 1979 to 1990; he later joined the informal supergroup Golden Smog before beginning a solo career. Although Mars concentrates mainly on his art career, he still occasionally releases new music.
