Between (Frankmusik Album)
Vincent James Turner (born 9 October 1985), better known by his stage name Frankmusik ( ) (and between 2011 and 2012, by the name Vincent Did It), is an English synth-pop musician. Since 2010 he is based in Los Angeles as remixer and producer. Early life Vincent James Turner was born on 9 October 1985 in the Thornton Heath district of the London Borough of Croydon. He attended Christ's Hospital boarding school in West Sussex and was a member of the house 'Maine A'. He entertained his housemates with constant piano playing. He completed a year-long foundation course at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and went on to study at the London College of Fashion, dropping out to concentrate on music. Lovebox Festival
Lovebox is a three-day music festival. In 2018 the event moved to Gunnersbury Park, London. The move came after Tower Hamlets turned down its application to continue in Victoria Park and Lambeth residents objected to its move to Brockwell Park. The 2019 event had a capacity of 50,000. The event has been running since 2002 and was founded by DJs Groove Armada. During this time, Lovebox has also hosted events in Newcastle, Dublin and Ibiza as well as numerous parties and club nights. Origins and history Groove Armada began Lovebox as a resident club night at London venue 93 Feet East in 2002. In 2003 to celebrate the first anniversary of the night, the pair hosted the first outdoor Lovebox event. The one-day event was held at the end of June 2003, on Clapham Common with a capacity of 10,000. Tickets for the event sold out in two days. Radio Jackie is an Independent Local Radio station in Kingston upon Thames, England broadcasting news, popular hits, and local information to South-West London and North Surrey from its studios in Tolworth. History Radio Jackie began as a pirate station first broadcasting in March 1969. Jackie broadcast on the 1525 kHz frequency and soon became one of the most popular pirate stations in the country. It changed frequency several times, settling on 1332 kHz in 1978 when the new European frequency guidelines were implemented. From February 1971, it also broadcast on FM on 94.4 MHz every Saturday evening. ''Complete Me'' is the debut studio album by English recording artist Frankmusik. It was released in the United Kingdom on 3 August 2009 by Island Records. A deluxe edition, released on the same day in both CD and digital formats, included a bonus CD titled "Re-Complete Me", containing the full album remixed and re-edited by Frankmusik himself into one continuous 38-minute DJ set. An acoustic version of the album titled ''Completely Me'' was released digitally on 6 December 2009. GaydarRadio is a podcast on Mixcloud streaming service, which used to be a Digital radio in the United Kingdom, British digital radio station for homosexuality, gay men, lesbians and gay friendly people, on Digital Audio Broadcasting, DAB multiplexes in London and Brighton and also online. It was broadcast 24 hours a day, with live programming from 5am to midnight during the week, 7am to midnight at weekends. GaydarRadio, which was based in Twickenham in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, ceased broadcasting on Monday 7 January 2013 when the station's DAB channels were acquired by Gaydio. The Clik Clik
The Clik Clik were a British band known for releasing a series of songs that became critically acclaimed for being a 'contagious blend of ‘wonky pop’, indie, hip-hop and electro'. The band, originally a duo of Abingdon and Yianni, toured with bands such as Hadouken! while headlining festivals such as Ibiza Rocks and received regular airtime on British indie music radio stations.
