Better Man (2024 Film)
''Better Man'' is a 2024 biographical film about the British pop singer Robbie Williams. It was co-written, co-produced and directed by Michael Gracey. Williams is portrayed as a chimpanzee, performed by Jonno Davies using motion capture. ''Better Man'' premiered at the 51st Telluride Film Festival on 30 August 2024, and is scheduled to be released in the United States on 25 December by Paramount Pictures and in Australia on 26 December by Roadshow Films. Michael Gracey is an Australian filmmaker and visual effects artist best known for directing ''The Greatest Showman''. Early life and career Gracey grew up in Melbourne – in Carlton then Kew – then started working in visual effects and music videos before making his reputation in advertising, gaining a name for with his Christmas commercials in the UK and US. Career Gracey made his feature directorial debut in 2017 with ''The Greatest Showman'' starring Hugh Jackman as P. T. Barnum. Nigel Martin-Smith is a Manchester-based English musical band manager. He helped form the 1990s British boy band Take That. Biography Early career Martin-Smith entered the entertainment industry in the early 1980s working as a casting agent from offices in Manchester's Royal Exchange. Jason Thomas Orange (born 10 July 1970) is an English former singer and dancer, known for being a member of Take That. He departed from the group in September 2014. Early life Jason Thomas Orange was born on 10 July 1970 in Manchester, Lancashire to Tony and Jenny Orange a few minutes before his twin brother Justin. He attended South Trafford College for two years beginning in 2001 and studied A-level English, and an access course including psychology, biology and history though he did not progress on to higher education.
