This is a list of characters from ''Blake's 7'', a media franchise created by Terry Nation. Kerr Avon Kerr Avon is a fictional character from the British science fiction television series ''Blake's 7'', played by Paul Darrow (who was recreating the role for the Big Finish ''Liberator Chronicles'' and ''Classic Audio Adventures''. Sopley
Sopley is a village and civil parish situated in the New Forest National Park of Hampshire, England. It lies on the old main road from Christchurch to Ringwood, on the east bank of the River Avon. The parish extends east as far as Thorny Hill and borders the parishes of Bransgore and Burton to the south and west respectively. It lies down the road from a small hamlet called Ripley. It includes the hamlets of Shirley, Avon and Ripley. The area is mainly rural with less than 300 dwellings. The village is situated on the fringes of the New Forest, just outside the New Forest National Park but within the perambulation boundary of the forest. Most of the buildings date back to the 19th century but there are more modern houses to the north. Avon (county)
Avon () was a non-metropolitan and ceremonial county in the west of England that existed between 1974 and 1996. The county was named after the River Avon, which flows through the area. It was formed from the county boroughs of Bristol and Bath, together with parts of the administrative counties of Gloucestershire and Somerset. In 1996, the county was abolished and the area split between four new unitary authorities: Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. The Avon name is still used for some purposes. The area had a population of approximately 1.08 million people in 2009. Background The port of Bristol lies close to the mouth of the River Avon which formed the historic boundary between Gloucestershire and Somerset. Avon-la-Pèze () is a commune in the Aube department in the Grand Est region of north-central France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as ''Avonnais'' or ''Avonnaises''. Geography Avon-la-Pèze is located some 30 km north-west of Troyes and 17 km south by south-west of Romilly-sur-Seine. Access to the commune is by road D440 from Rigny-la-Nonneuse in the north which passes through the centre of the commune and the village before continuing south to Marcilly-le-Hayer. The D23 comes from Avant-les-Marcilly in the north-west passing west through the commune and the village and continuing to Saint-Lupien in the south-east. The D16 branches off the D23 east of the village and goes north-east to Marigny-le-Châtel. There is the hamlet of La Pezé to the north of the village. Avon, Seine-et-Marne
Avon () is a commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. Geography Avon and Fontainebleau, together with three other smaller communes, form an urban area of 36,713 inhabitants. The two towns share a common boundary, whereas other miscellaneous smaller villages are scattered around in the forest that surrounds them (one of the largest in France). Avon is built between two hills; one of them, known as the Butte Montceau, supports the homonymous neighbourhood, made of small blocks and houses; on the opposite one is built the Fougères neighbourhood, consisting of larger buildings. The rest of the town consists mainly of small houses, in the neighbourhoods of La Vallée and Vieil Avon. As previously said, the town is nested in the Fontainebleau forest; it is bordered on one side by the Seine river, crossed over by the Pont de Valvins.
