Shenzhen
Shenzhen (; ; ; ), also historically known as Sham Chun, is a major sub-provincial city and one of the special economic zones of China. The city is located on the east bank of the Pearl River estuary on the central coast of southern province of Guangdong, bordering Hong Kong to the south, Dongguan to the north, and Huizhou to the northeast. Sean Wroe (born 19 March 1985) is an Australian sprint (running), sprinter. He was born in Melbourne to a Japanese Australians, Japanese Australian mother and is a fluent Japanese language, Japanese speaker. Wroe competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in the 400 m and 4 × 400 m relay. He placed 21st in the 400 m semifinal with a time of 45.56 seconds. Stephen Mokoka (born 31 January 1985) is a South African long-distance runner who competes in races ranging from 3000 metres to the 50 km distance. He formerly held the 50 km world record. Suguru Osako
is a Japanese long-distance runner. He won the 10,000 metres gold medal at the 2011 Summer Universiade in Shenzhen and holds the Asian junior record for the half marathon. He held the Japanese National Record for the marathon of 2:05:29 set at the 2020 Tokyo Marathon, where he finished fourth. Born in Machida, Tokyo, he attended Saku Chosei High School and began to establish himself nationally in 2010. Stefano La Rosa (born 28 September 1985 in Grosseto) is an Italian long distance runner. He is a five-time Italian champion (twice over 10,000 metres and three times over 5000 metres). Andrew James Vernon (born 7 January 1986) is a British long-distance runner who specialised in the 5000 metres, the 10,000metres on track and cross country running.
