Aqualad (Kaldur'ahm)
Kaldur'ahm, or Kaldur for short, is the superhero codenamed Aqualad and Aquaman in media published by DC Entertainment. The character was created by Brandon Vietti, Greg Weisman and Phil Bourassa for the television series ''Young Justice'', and voiced by Khary Payton. His name is a reference to the character Calvin "Cal" Durham (the character's foster father), formerly a henchman of the supervillain Black Manta (the character's biological father) who was sent to infiltrate Atlantis, but defected to the Atlanteans. While originally developed for television, DC quickly adapted the character to its mainstream comic books, with Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis' re-interpreting the character. For television, creators were able to tell a story where Aqualad had known and worked with Aquaman for many years, while the comic book version had to be introduced to Aquaman and readers at the same time, meaning aspects of his backstory had to be changed. Young Justice (TV Series)
''Young Justice'' is an American superhero animated television series developed by Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman for Cartoon Network and Distributed By Warner Bros. Domestic Television. Despite its title, it is not a direct adaptation of Peter David, Todd Dezago and Todd Nauck's '' Young Justice'' comic series, but rather an original story set in the DC Universe with a focus on teenage and young adult superheroes. The series follows the lives of teenage superheroes and sidekicks, namely Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Superboy, Red Arrow, Miss Martian, and Artemis, who are members of a fictional covert operation group. Within the show, "the Team" is a group of young heroes attached to the famous adult team, the Justice League, but operating outside of the bureaucracy that constrains the more established superhero team. Ivan Reis
Ivan Reis is a Brazilian comics artist. He is known for his work on comic books such as Dark Horse Comics' '' Ghost'', Marvel Comics' '' Captain Marvel'' and '' Avengers Icons: The Vision'' and DC Comics' ''Action Comics'', ''Green Lantern'' and ''Aquaman'' series. According to collaborator Geoff Johns, Reis's drawing style resembles those of Alan Davis and Neal Adams. Career For three years, Reis worked for Maurício de Sousa in Brazil. He began his international career for Dark Horse Comics working on '' Ghost'', starting with issue #17 and acting as regular artist until the series concluded with issue #36. Other work for Dark Horse included '' The Mask'', ''Time Cop'', and ''Xena''. He later worked for Lightning Comics. At Vertigo, he pencilled an issue of Grant Morrison's ''The Invisibles''. Bart Allen
Bartholomew Henry "Bart" Allen II is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. A speedster, he first appeared under the alias Impulse and later became the second Kid Flash and the fourth Flash. Created by Mark Waid and Mike Wieringo, Bart first made a cameo in '' The Flash'' (vol. 2) #91 in 1994 before his full debut in issue #92. He has since been featured as the lead character in ''Impulse'' (1995–2002) and '' The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive'' (2006–2007). Bart also appears in the series ''Young Justice'' and ''Teen Titans'' as a member of both superhero teams.
