The Apostolic Nunciature to Argentina the diplomatic mission of the Holy See to Argentina. It is located at the Fernández Anchorena Palace, in Buenos Aires. The current Apostolic Nuncio is Archbishop Mirosław Adamczyk, who was named to the position by Pope Francis on 22 February 2020. Lino Zanini
Lino Zanini (6 May 1909 – 25 October 1997) was an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church who worked in the diplomatic service of the Holy See for 45 years and then oversaw St. Peter's Basilica, including archaeological work and access improvements, for 15 years. Biography Lino Zanini was born in Riese Pio X, Italy, on 6 May 1909. He was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Venice on 2 July 1933. To prepare for a diplomatic career he entered the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy in 1937. He joined the Holy See's diplomatic corps in 1938; his early assignments in the diplomatic service included stints in Ecuador, Chile, Peru, Belgium and Lebanon. Umberto Mozzoni
Umberto Mozzoni (29 June 1904 – 7 November 1983) was an Argentine Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as Apostolic Nuncio to Brazil from 1969 to 1973, and was made a cardinal in 1973. Biography Umberto Mozzoni was born in Buenos Aires, but his family later moved to Macerata, Italy. He attended the seminary there before going to Rome, where he studied at the Pontifical Roman Seminary, Pontifical Roman Athenaeum ''S. Apollinare'', and the University of Rome. Ordained a priest on 14 August 1927, Mozzoni then did pastoral work in the Diocese of Macerata and taught at its seminary until 1935. Mario Zanin (bishop)
Mario Zanin (April 3, 1890 – August 4, 1958), sometimes referred to by the French form of his name, Marius Zanin, and also known by the Chinese name Cài Níng (), was an Italian prelate and papal diplomat. He served as Apostolic Delegate to China from 1933 to 1946, as Apostolic Nuncio to Chile from 1947 to 1953, and as Apostolic Nuncio to Argentina from 1953 to 1958. Giuseppe Fietta
Giuseppe Fietta (6 November 1883 – 1 October 1960) was an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church who worked in the diplomatic service of the Holy See from 1924 to 1958, including a stint as Apostolic Nuncio to Argentina from 1936 to 1953. He was made a cardinal in 1958. Biography Born in Ivrea, Piedmont, Giuseppe Fietta studied at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome and was ordained to the priesthood on 4 November 1906. Filippo Cortesi
Filippo Cortesi (8 Octobter 1876 – 1 February 1947) was the Apostolic Nuncio to Poland from December 24, 1936 to February 1, 1947. Cortesi earlier served as nuncio to Paraguay in the interim. Cortesi was the only Apostolic Nuncio to Poland, nuncio to Poland never to become a cardinal (Catholicism), cardinal. Alberto Vassallo di Torregrossa (28 December 1865, San Cataldo, Sicily - 7 September 1959, San Cataldo) was an Italian prelate and church diplomat. He was the last papal nuncio to Munich.
