''All Clues Lead to Berlin'' (german: Die Spur führt nach Berlin) is a 1952 West German thriller film directed by František Čáp and starring Gordon Howard, Irina Garden and Kurt Meisel. It is also known by the alternative titles ''Adventure in Berlin'' and ''International Counterfeiters''. It portrays a gang of counterfeiters with links to the former Nazi regime. It was shot at the Spandau Studios and on location across Berlin including at the ruins of the Reichstag building. The film's sets were designed by the art directors Emil Hasler and Walter Kutz. It was given a British release in 1953. Plot Berlin in the early 1950s. Two men take the elevator up the Berlin radio tower. A heated argument ensues between the two. Reichstag Building
The Reichstag (, ; officially: – ; en, Parliament) is a historic government building in Berlin which houses the Bundestag, the lower house of Germany's parliament. It was constructed to house the Imperial Diet (german: Reichstag) of the German Empire. It was opened in 1894 and housed the Diet until 1933, when it was set on fire. In World War II, during the Battle of Berlin, the building was severely damaged by the Soviet Red Army. After the War, the building fell into disuse; the parliament of the German Democratic Republic (the ) met in the Palast der Republik in East Berlin, while the parliament of the Federal Republic of Germany (the Bundestag) met in the in Bonn. The Spandau Studios or CCC Studios were film and television studios located in Spandau, a suburb of Berlin. Wolfgang Neuss
Wolfgang Neuss (3 December 1923 – 5 May 1989) was a German actor and Kabarett artist. Beginning in the mid-1960s, he also became famous for his political engagement, first for the SPD, then for the extra-parliamentary opposition, ''APO''. He died in 1989 from a longtime cancer. At the age of 15 he went to Berlin to become a clown but was dismissed. When Germany entered into the Second World War Neuss was drafted, first to the Reich Labour Service where he was occupied with road construction. Later he was sent to the Eastern Front where he became injured and was rewarded with the Iron Cross. It was during his stays in military hospitals and, after the war during military detention that Neuss began to discover his interest in acting and for Kabarett. Hans Albert Nielsen (30 November 1911 – 11 October 1965) was a German film actor. He appeared in more than 130 films between 1937 and 1965. Biography Hans Albert Nielsen was born in Hamburg, Germany. He first got an education in business, but afterward, began taking private acting lessons from Albrecht Schoenhals and Erich Ziegel. He made his stage debut in Hamburg in 1932, after which he worked in Augsburg, Kiel, Leipzig, Berlin, Munich and Düsseldorf. Many actors and performing artists fled Nazi Germany, but Nielsen remained.
