Constantine of Baberon (died c. 1263) was a powerful Armenian noble of the Het‛umid family. He was the son of Vassag and the father of King Het‛um I, who ruled the Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia from 1226 to 1270. Constantine played a pivotal role in placing his son on the throne by engineering the murder of Philip, the husband of Isabella, Queen of Armenia. He tricked Philip's father, Bohemond IV of Antioch, to search for his son at Amouda rather than at Sis, where he was being tortured and poisoned. He then took his army to the gates of Silifke Castle, forced its Frankish lords to surrender Isabella, and arranged the marriage, making his son the first Het‛umid ruler of the Armenian Kingdom. Constantine began construction on the elaborate baronial apartments at Baberon (Çandır Castle), which were still standing in 1979. Alise Alousi is an Iraqi American poet living in Detroit. She was formerly a program director at ''Alternatives for Girls'', a local program to keep vulnerable girls and young women from dropping out of school, street activity and other risky activities. She was born in 1965. Her mother is from Detroit, Michigan and her father is from Baghdad, Iraq. She attended school at Wayne State University and studied creative writing and literature. Born to an Iraqi father, Alousi still has relatives in Iraq. As an Arab American poet, Alousi is also Director of School & Community Partnerships at ''InsideOut Literary Arts'', a creative writing program serving Detroit's youth. Alise-Sainte-Reine
Alise-Sainte-Reine (Alise-Ste-Reine) is a commune in the Côte-d'Or department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of eastern France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as ''Alisiens'' and ''Alisiennes''. Geography Alise-Sainte-Reine is located some 17 km southeast of Montbard and 50 km northwest of Dijon. The D905 from Venarey-les-Laumes to Posanges in the south passes through the western part of the commune. Access to the village however is on the D103, D103J, and D103T from Venaray-les-Laumes in the west which continues east to join the D10 road. Apart from the village the commune consists of farmland with some forest and a horse racing track in the west. The ''Ozeraine'' river forms most of the southern border of the commune and flows west to join the ''Brenne'' west of the commune. Alesia was the capital of the Mandubii, one of the Gallic tribes allied with the Aedui. The Celtic ''oppidum'' was conquered by Julius Caesar during the Gallic Wars and afterwards became a Gallo-Roman town.
