Alexandra Gamlemshaug Andresen (born 23 July 1996) is a Norwegian heiress. She became the world's youngest billionaire at age 19 in 2016 and held the position of youngest billionaire on the ''Forbes'' list for three consecutive years. As of 2020, Andresen is the world's second-youngest billionaire and her net worth is estimated at US$1.1 billion. Early life Andresen is the daughter of Norwegian industrialist Johan H. Andresen Jr., owner of Ferd AS, who in 2007, transferred ownership stakes of 42.2% each to Alexandra and her sister Katharina (even though their father insists that he will not force his daughters to take part in the family company if they do not want to). Nicolai Andresen
Nicolai Andresen (24 September 1781 – 18 November 1861) was a Norwegian merchant, banker and member of Stortinget. He laid the foundation for Andresens Bank A/S, which after several mergers became Nordea Bank Norge. Andresen was born at Tønder in southern Jutland, Denmark. He was the son of Christian Andresen and Cecilie Cathrine Asmussen. Andresen had studied under a merchant in Flensburg, before immigrated to Christiania (now Oslo) in 1801. He first entered as a partner with merchant G. F. Hagemann until 1809, when he established his own trading and shipping business. Subsequently, Andresen also operated a factory which manufactured glazed tiles and cornice stones of baked clay. His interest in banking grew out of his trading company. Nils August Andresen Butenschøn (3 February 1842 – 27 September 1935) was a Norwegian businessperson. He was born in Kristiania (now Oslo, Norway) as the only son of banker Nicolay August Andresen (1812–1894) and Nilsine Augusta Butenschøn (1818–1842). He was a grandson of Nicolai Andresen and grandnephew of Johan Henrik Andresen. His forefathers had founded and run a banking company later named Andresens Bank. In 1893, he took his mother's surname, Butenschøn. He joined the company in 1867, as a junior partner of his father and his uncle Engelhart Andresen. They died in 1894 and 1896 respectively, but from 1892 Butenschøn was a partner with his cousins Carl Christian and Engelhart Jr (the latter left in 1902). Butenschøn spent his career as a chief executive in Andresens Bank, and also served as a consul general. Nicolay August Andresen
Nicolay August Andresen (2 August 1812 – 3 January 1894) was a Norwegian banker. He was born in Christiania (now Oslo, Norway), a son of Nicolai Andresen and Engel Johanne Christiane Reichborn. He was a brother of merchant and factory owner Johan Henrik Andresen, and of silver mines manager Carl Ferdinand Andresen. He took over N. A. Andresen & Co, the banking part of his father's company and operated the bank with his brother Engelhart Andresen as partner. The bank developed to become among the largest banks in Christiania, and was later known as ''Andresens Bank''. Anton Fredrik Klaveness (29 April 1874 – 5 November 1958) was a Norwegian ship-owner. Personal life He was born in Sandar as a son of ship-owner Anton Fredrik Klaveness (1839–1904) and Birthe Marie Andersen (1845–1932). Johan Henrik Andresen (25 March 1815 – 5 June 1874) was a Norwegian merchant, factory owner and politician. Biography Andresen was born in Christiania (now Oslo), Norway. He was a son of Nicolai Andresen and Engel Johanne Christiane Reichborn. He was a brother of banker Nicolay August Andresen and silver mines manager Carl Ferdinand Andresen (1824–1890). He attended the Møller Institute (''Møllers Institut'') in Christiania. He bought the tobacco factory J. L. Tiedemanns Tobaksfabrik from Johann Ludwig Tiedemann in 1849.
