Alan Pears
Alan Pears, Member of the Order of Australia, AM, is an environmental consultant, and a pioneer of Efficient energy use, energy efficiency policy in Australia since the late 1970s. In the 1980s, Pears worked on the Home Energy Advisory Service, star-rating appliance energy labels, and mandatory home insulation regulations, while with the Victorian Government's Energy Information Centre. He has been an environmental consultant since 1991, involved in energy/environmental rating and regulation of buildings, green building developments, and efficient appliance development. The Order of Australia is an honour that recognises Australian citizens and other persons for outstanding achievement and service. It was established on 14 February 1975 by Elizabeth II, Queen of Australia, on the advice of the Australian Government. Before the establishment of the order, Australian citizens received British honours. In 2021, Australia produced 74,679 gigawatt-hours of renewable energy, which accounted for 32.5% of electricity production. Trevor Lee (architect)
Trevor Lee is an Australian architect who has directed himself to energy issues in the built environment since his graduation with honours from the University of Melbourne in 1976. From 1985 to 1989, he was the "Senior Architect for Energy Management" of Australia's Department of Construction.
