Ahmet Enünlü
Ahmet Enünlü (born July 3, 1948) is a world champion Turkish bodybuilder. Enünlü was the fore-runner and the most successful performer of this sport in Turkey. He became the WABBA overall world champion in 1977 and 1978. In 1979, he won the overall Mr. Universe title of the National Amateur Body-Builders' Association (NABBA). Enünlü is the grandson of Abdullah Cevdet Abdullah Cevdet ( ota, عبدالله جودت‎; tr, Abdullah Cevdet Karlıdağ; 9 September 1869 – 29 November 1932) was a Kurdish intellectual and physician in the Ottoman Empire. Bodybuilding is the use of progressive resistance exercise to control and develop one's muscles (muscle building) by muscle hypertrophy for aesthetic purposes. It is distinct from similar activities such as powerlifting because it focuses on physical appearance instead of strength. An individual who engages in this activity is referred to as a bodybuilder. The Turkish people, or simply the Turks ( tr, Türkler), are the world's largest Turkic ethnic group; they speak various dialects of the Turkish language and form a majority in Turkey and Northern Cyprus.
