Ahmad Hijazi
Ahmad Mostafa Hijazi (, ; born 22 August 1994) is a Lebanese professional footballer who plays as a forward for Nepalese club Dhangadhi. Club career After spending three seasons on loan from Ahed—at Racing Beirut, Nabi Chit, and Akhaa Ahli Aley, respectively—Hijazi signed a permanent deal with Akhaa Ahli Aley in summer 2019. He was sent on loan to Ansar on 23 January 2020, to compete in the 2020 AFC Cup. On 9 July 2020, Hijazi joined Ansar permanently on a five-year deal. On 24 April 2021, he helped his team win the 2020–21 Lebanese Premier League, their first league title since 2007—and 14th overall—scoring in a 2–1 win against rivals Nejmeh in the Beirut derby in the last matchday of the season. Al Ansar FC
Al Ansar Football Club () is a football club based in Tariq El Jdideh, a district in Beirut, Lebanon, that competes in the . Formed in 1951, the club did not win its first Lebanese Premier League until 1988. They went on to set a world record by winning the league 11 seasons in a row. Ansar is the most successful club in the country, having won the Lebanese Premier League 14 times and the Lebanese FA Cup 15 times, both domestic records. 2021 Lebanese Super Cup
The 2021 Lebanese Super Cup was the 21st Lebanese Super Cup, an annual football match played between the winners of the previous season's Lebanese Premier League and Lebanese FA Cup. As Ansar won both competitions in 2021, their opponents were the 2020–21 league runners-up Nejmeh. The match was played at the Fouad Chehab Stadium on 7 August 2021. Ansar won their sixth title, defeating rivals Nejmeh on penalties, following a 2–2 draw after regular time. Match Summary Mahdi Zein of Nejmeh opened the scoring in the 39th minute, assisted by Khalil Bader. Lebanese Super Cup
The Lebanese Super Cup () is Lebanese football's annual match contested between the champions of the previous Lebanese Premier League season and the holders of the Lebanese FA Cup. If the Lebanese Premier League champions also won the Lebanese FA Cup then the league runners-up provide the opposition. The fixture is recognized as a competitive super cup by the Lebanese Football Association and the Asian Football Confederation. The Lebanese First Division (), commonly known as the Lebanese Premier League (), is the top division of the Lebanese football league system. 2019 WAFF Championship
The 2019 West Asian Football Federation Championship, also called Asiacell WAFF Championship Iraq 2019 due to sponsorship by Asiacell, was the 9th edition of the WAFF Championship, an international tournament for member nations of the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF). It was hosted in Iraq for the first time, in the cities of Karbala and Erbil. The tournament was meant to be held from 8 to 17 December 2017 in Amman, Jordan, but was postponed to a later date, and subsequently moved to Iraq on 21 May 2018. 2023–24 Nepal Super League
The 2023 Nepal Super League was the second season of the Nepal Super League, the top flight franchise based club football league of Nepal. A total of nine franchises participated in the tournament played at the Dasharath Rangasala from 24 November to 30 December 2023. Kathmandu Rayzrs had won the inaugural season after beating Dhangadhi FC in the final on 15 May 2021. In addition to the seven founding members, three new franchises were added. Jhapa FC represented Jhapa, Sporting Ilam De Mechi FC Ilam, and Birgunj United FC Birgunj. One of the founding members, Biratnagar City, decided to withdraw from the tournament, resulting in only nine teams participating in this edition.
