Aadu Puli Attam (1977 Film)
''Aadu Puli Aattam'' () is a 1977 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by S. P. Muthuraman, starring Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Sangeetha and Sripriya. Later in 1978, S. P. Muthuraman remade the film in Telugu as ''Yetthuku Pai Yetthu'', It was a partial remake of ''Aadu Puli Aattum''. A few scenes were remade in Telugu with Telugu actors like Satyanarayana and Allu Ramalingaiah and the rest of the film was dubbed. Plot The movie starts with Kamal and Rajini, close associates, playing this game in a bar. When the game is finished, the couple, along with their gang ransack the bar and loot the money. In brief, this is the story of a young man who dreams of becoming a policeman, but decides to oppose the police and heads a gang of thieves. When he discovers that his associates are much worse than thieves, he joins the police and nabs the criminals. Mahendran (filmmaker)
J. Alexander (25 July 1939 – 2 April 2019), known professionally as Mahendran, was an Indian film director, screenwriter and actor, known for his work in the Tamil film industry. Mahendran is regarded as one of the greatest film makers of Tamil cinema and has influenced several filmmakers of the generations that followed. Mahendran entered the film industry as a screenwriter, writing scripts for nearly 26 films. He made an immediate impact with his first directional venture ''Mullum Malarum'' (1978). Nanjil Nalini
Nanjil Nalini (1944-2020) was an Indian actress who mainly appeared in Tamil films and TV serials (soap-operas), in a career spanning over 50 years. She started as a child artist in theatre at age 12 and later went on act in over 100 films. She was honoured with the kalaimamani award in 1978. Nalini died in Chennai on 19 January 2020, aged 76.
