AFC Women's Club Championship
The AFC Women's Club Championship is the top-tier women's football club competition in Asia. It involves the top clubs from countries affiliated with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Designed as pilot tournaments, the format will change in 2023 to an invitational tournament, and in 2024 replaced with the launch of the AFC Women's Champions League. The concept of an Asian women's club competition was first recommended in 2018. The inaugural championship in 2019 was held as a round-robin tournament among four teams from the east region. This was followed by the 2021 championship among four teams from the west region. For 2022, seven teams would be split between east and west regions, with winners from the two regions facing off in the final on 22 October 2022. The current (2022) champions are Thailand's College of Asian Scholars for the East zone title and Uzbekistan's Sogdiyona Jizzak for the West zone title. Asian Football Confederation
The Asian Football Confederation is the governing body of association football, beach soccer, and futsal in some countries/territories in Asia and Oceania. It has 47 member countries most of which are located in Asia. Australia, formerly in OFC, joined AFC in 2006. Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands, both territories of the United States, are also AFC members that are geographically in Oceania. The Asian Ladies Football Confederation (ALFC) was the section of AFC who managed women's association football in Asia. The group was independently founded in April 1968 in a meeting involving Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore. In 1986 ALFC merged with AFC. Copa Libertadores Femenina
The CONMEBOL Libertadores Femenina, named as "Copa Libertadores Femenina" ( pt, Copa Libertadores Feminina or Taça Libertadores Feminina) is an annual international women's association football club competition in South America. It is organized by the South American Football Federation ( CONMEBOL). The competition started in the 2009 season in response to the increased interest in women's football. It is the only CONMEBOL club competition for women. The tournament is the women's version of the Copa Libertadores, which is organized since 1960. Since 2019, clubs in the men's Libertadores have been required to have a women's team: failure to do so means their entry will be rejected. is a Japanese footballer who plays as a forward for Bayer Leverkusen (on loan from INAC Kobe Leonessa) and the Japan national team. Club career Tanaka was born in Thailand on April 28, 1994.
