The A48 autoroute, also known as ''l'autoroute du Dauphiné'', is a motorway in France connecting the A43 with the city of Grenoble. An extension north to Ambérieu is proposed in the medium term. A43 Autoroute
The A43 autoroute, also known as ''l'autoroute alpine'' and ''l'autoroute de la Maurienne'', is a motorway in France. Travelling through the French Alps, the road connects the city of Lyon with the Tunnel du Fréjus, near Modane, which passes the Italian border towards Turin. The autoroute opened in phases as it was constructed between 1973 and 1998. Ambérieu-en-Bugey
Ambérieu-en-Bugey (; frp, Ambèriô) is a commune in the department of Ain, region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France. It is the largest town in the arrondissement of Belley and the capital of the Canton of Ambérieu-en-Bugey which consists of 8 communes with a total of 21,226 inhabitants in 2007 with 17,466 inhabitants in its own urban area in 2010. It is also the capital of the historic region of Bugey. Its inhabitants are known as ''Ambarrois'' or ''Ambarroises''. Chambéry (, , ; Arpitan: ''Chambèri'') is the prefecture of the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of eastern France. Gap (, ) is the prefecture of the Hautes-Alpes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in Southeastern France. The Isère ( , ; frp, Isera; oc, Isèra) is a river in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of southeastern France. Its source, a glacier known as the ''Sources de l'Isère'', lies in the Vanoise National Park in the Graian Alps of Savoie, near the ski resort in Val-d'Isère on the border with Italy. An important left-bank tributary of the Rhône, the Isère merges with it a few kilometers north of Valence. Lac De Paladru
Lake Paladru (''Lac de Paladru, nicknamed "Lac Bleu" by local residents'') is a small lake located in the Isère ''département'' of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, near Charavines, in France. The lake was formed by the glacier of the Rhône. It is 5.3 kilometres long and 1.2 kilometres wide when full, the maximum depth is 36 metres.
