Arriving
Arriving is the third studio album by Chris Tomlin released in 2004. The album has received RIAA "Platinum" status and peaked at No. 3 on ''Billboard''s Top Christian Albums chart. As of October 2008, "How Great Is Our God" is No. 1 and "Holy Is the Lord" is No. 7 on CCLI's Top 100 songs used in churches in the U.S. "Indescribable" is a cover of Laura Story, originally performed by Laura Story herself in 2003. Tomlin covered the song on this album. Likewise, "Your Grace Is Enough" is a cover of a Matt Maher song, though Tomlin rewrote the chorus compared to Maher's original version. Name Tomlin named this album after a passage he read in Isaiah 40 because he said he feels "as though we're like this landing strip in the desert for our great, incredible God to arrive on; a way for Him to come into people's lives." ''Translucence/Drift Music'' is a double studio album by American ambient musician Harold Budd and English musician and graphic artist John Foxx John Foxx (born Dennis Leigh; 26 September 1948) is an English singer, musician, artist, photographer, graphic designer, writer, teacher and lecturer. He was the original lead singer of the New wave music, new wave band Ultravox, before leaving ..., which was released in August 2003. Budd and Foxx had long been engaged by the other's work, eventually working together in 1996. These two discs are a record of those sessions. Touch The Sound (soundtrack)
''Touch the Sound'' is a soundtrack by Scottish percussionist Evelyn Glennie of the 2004 documentary film '' Touch the Sound'' by German filmmaker Thomas Riedelsheimer about Glennie, who is profoundly deaf. It was released on CD in 2004 by German record label, Normal. The soundtrack consists of musical improvisations by Glennie, solo and with other musicians, including English experimental musician Fred Frith. Glennie and Frith were filmed improvising in an abandoned sugar factory in Dormagen, Germany, and six of the tracks on the soundtrack were recorded in the factory. In 2007 Frith and Glennie released an album, '' The Sugar Factory'' which used material from those sessions. Reception In a review at AllMusic, Stephen Eddins gave the soundtrack four stars out of five, and said that "This is not a recording in which Glennie's virtuosity is on display, but one that showcases her sensitivity to the world around her, and that's a wonderful thing to hear."
