James Angus Graham, 7th Duke of Montrose ID (2 May 1907 – 10 February 1992), styled Earl of Kincardine until 1925 and Marquess of Graham between 1925 and 1954, was a Scottish-born Rhodesian politician, farmer and aristocrat. He served as Minister of Agriculture in the Rhodesian government of Ian Smith, and in 1965 was a signatory to Rhodesia's Unilateral Declaration of Independence. Biography Born in 1907, the son of James Graham, 6th Duke and Lady Mary Louise, only daughter of William Douglas Hamilton, 12th Duke of Hamilton. His cousin was Colonel Sir Donald Cameron of Lochiel, a prominent Highland soldier and Chief of Clan Cameron. As Marquess of Graham, the Duke was educated at Eton and Christ Church, Oxford. Angus Graham (footballer)
Angus Graham (born 16 April 1987) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played in the Australian Football League (AFL). He made his debut in late 2007 with the Richmond Football Club and played two games that season. He did not play in the 2008 season, but he returned to the side in 2009 and enjoyed a solid run of form in the early rounds of the season. His first senior goal came against Sydney in round 6, 2009; he went on to kick two goals in that match. Angus Charles Graham
Angus Charles Graham, FBA (8 July 1919 – 26 March 1991) was a Welsh scholar and sinologist who was professor of classical Chinese at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. He was born in Penarth, Glamorgan, Wales to Charles Harold and Mabelle Graham, the elder of two children. His father was originally a coal merchant who moved to Malaya to start a rubber plantation, and died in 1928 of malaria. Graham attended Ellesmore College, Shropshire, 1932–1937, and went on to read Theology at Corpus Christi College, Oxford (graduating in 1940), and Chinese at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London (graduating in 1949). In 1950 he was appointed Lecturer in Classical Chinese at SOAS, promoted to Professor in 1971, and to Professor Emeritus after his retirement in 1984. Angus Graham (strongman)
Angus Graham (Aonghas Greumach) ( – 1896) was a strongman born on the Isle of Lewis, Scotland, and died at Habost in the Port of Ness. Throughout life Angus achieved a name for himself as a man of outstanding physical strength. He was widely reported to be the strongest man on Lewis and possibly Britain. His incredible feats of strength have become folklore on the island, one being the rolling of a large boulder which is still to be seen on the Barvas moor in Lewis. The large boulder, possibly weighing more than a ton, was moved by Angus when he was around 40 years old. In recent times, the boulder has been painted white, by someone wishing to ensure that the stone was not forgotten. This stone is marked by a commemorative plaque which was unveiled by Kenneth John Mackay, chairman of the Angus Graham Stone Committee, celebrating the strength of Angus Graham.
