Andrew 'Andy' Collins (born 4 July 1970) is a British television and radio personality. Career During the 1990s, Collins presented ''Game Over'', a show on BSkyB's short-lived computer and technology channel ''.tv''. In 1993, he won a Golden Joystick and a date with emcee Monie Love by winning a SNES '' Cool Spot'' challenge on Channel 4's ''GamesMaster''. In 2000, he co-presented "Lost in the Woods" as Novice to the survival Guru John "Brummie" Stokes, a 15 episodes show that aired on Discovery Travel & Living. From September to December 2002, he presented the British daytime version of '' Family Fortunes'', a show based on the United States TV show '' Family Feud''. Andy Collins is a game designer whose writing credits include numerous books for the ''Dungeons & Dragons'' fantasy role-playing game. Early life and education Andy Collins grew up in Olympia, Washington. His uncle gave him a copy of the original ''Dungeons & Dragons'' boxed set for his tenth birthday; although he did not know any other ''D&D'' players at the time, and found it hard to figure out how to play a game with no board or playing pieces, he said "my brother, a friend, and I sat down to play one day. Nine hours later, we'd missed both lunch and dinner, and we were all hooked." He was also a fan of the Star Wars franchise, having seen the original film several times while it was in the theater. Collins continued gaming throughout high school and college, and graduated from Stanford University in 1994 with a degree in English. Andy Collins (born 1971, Atlanta, US) is an artist based in New York. Collins studied at Atlanta College of Art in 1994, and completed his MFA at School of Visual Arts, New York, in 1999.
