All The Way To The Sun
''All the Way to the Sun'' is the ninth studio album by the Norwegian hard rock band TNT. The album was first rumoured to be on the heavy side of TNT, but came out in the end as a more straight forward pop rock album. It did not get as many positive reviews as '' My Religion'' but was still regarded as a fairly good TNT album. It also sold less than the previous album. The band toured Norway to support the release as well as shows in Sweden, the UK and in Spain where they recorded what became '' Live in Madrid'' before Tony Harnell left the band for professional and personal reasons. "Driving" has been played before several major car races in the USA. TNT (Norwegian Band)
TNT is a Norwegian heavy metal band from Trondheim, formed in 1982. The band has released fourteen studio albums, three EPs and four live albums while going through numerous line-up changes since its formation. Guitarist Ronni Le Tekrø is the only consistent member of TNT. TNT has sold between 4-5 million albums worldwide as of 2016. Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. Glam metal (also known as hair metal or pop metal) is a subgenre of heavy metal that features pop-influenced hooks and guitar riffs, upbeat rock anthems, and slow power ballads. Ronni Le Tekrø
Ronni Le Tekrø (born Rolf Ågrim Tekrø, 5 October 1963) is a Norwegian guitarist best known for playing with the Norwegian hard rock band TNT and as a solo guitarist cooperating with guitarists Terje Rypdal and Mads Eriksen as "N3". LeTekrø was born in Oslo but moved to Raufoss at a young age, and has lived there all his life except for the period between 1982 and 1985, when he lived in Trondheim. Le Tekrø sound Le Tekrø plays with an extremely accomplished technique. One of the big differences in his playing is that his guitar solos are usually a separate melody which can actually be hummed, similar to Neil Schon's solos in Journey songs. He has also the technical ability to play fast with his "machine gun technique", but he does so sparingly. Zakk Wylde is one of the more outspoken fans of Ronni. My Religion (album)
''My Religion'' is the eighth studio album by the Norwegian hard rock band TNT, released on 8 March 2004. It marked a return to the glam metal direction that ended with '' Realized Fantasies''. It was said to be a "breath of fresh air" by most fans and received excellent reviews worldwide when it was released. It is regarded by a large part of TNT's fanbase to be their best album ever, including more known albums such as Tell No Tales and Intuition. Sid Ringsby joined the band to finish the rest of the touring for ''My Religion'' and to record the follow-up album, ''All The Way To The Sun''. Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. What A Wonderful World
"What a Wonderful World" is a song written by Bob Thiele (as "George Douglas") and George David Weiss. It was first recorded by Louis Armstrong and released in 1967 as a single. It topped the pop chart in the United Kingdom, but performed poorly in the United States because Larry Newton, the president of ABC Records, disliked the song and refused to promote it. After it was heard in the film '' Good Morning, Vietnam'', it was reissued as a single in 1988, and rose to number 32 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Armstrong's recording was inducted to the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999. Composition and production Thiele produced the track under his own name, but as a co-composer was initially credited under the pseudonym George Douglas. His real name has appeared on it from its 1988 issue onward.
