Breck Shampoo is an American brand of shampoo that is also known for its Breck Girls advertising campaign. History In 1930, Dr. John H. Breck, Sr. (June 5, 1877 – February 1965) of Springfield, Massachusetts, founded Breck Shampoo. Advertising that "every woman is different," by the 1950s, the shampoo was available in three expressions, color-coded for easy identity: * ''D'' (red label) "For Dry Hair" * ''O'' (yellow label) "For Oily Hair" * ''N'' (blue label) "For Normal Hair" In 1963, Breck was sold to Shulton Division of American Cyanamid, a chemical company based in New Jersey. Alice Anderson (born 1972) is a French-British artist who studied Fine Art at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris and Goldsmiths College, London. She currently lives and works in London. Anderson works primarily with copper-coloured wire, colour paint, oil pastel, corten steel, and is associated with the Postdigital movement: as a way of finding spirituality through the developing technologies. FreeStyle Street Basketball (FSSB) is a massively multiplayer online sports game made by JC Entertainment and with cel-shaded graphics. It is a fast-paced, arcade styled representation of half court streetball, self-described as being Hip-Hoop. Players team up with one another to challenge other online players to matches of basketball that are characterized by high tempo, freedom of movement, and a premium placed on synergy and teamwork. Alice Anderson (born 1966) is an American poet. She is particularly known for her collection, ''Human Nature''. Biography Alice Anderson was born May 20, 1966 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She spent her childhood in California and Mississippi. Anderson's work deals with issues that have impacted her life: family violence, intimate partner violence, and traumatic brain injury. Anderson was living in Ocean Springs, Mississippi when Hurricane Katrina hit. Anderson took a classes at California State University, Sacramento, receiving a BA in English. As an undergrad Anderson worked with the poet Dennis Schmitz who encouraged her to go to graduate school. Anderson was the owner of the first all-women garage workshop in Australia. Life and career Alice Anderson was born Alecia Elizabeth Foley Anderson in Melbourne, Australia on June 8, 1897, to Irish-born couple Joshua Thomas Noble Anderson and Ellen Mary (née White-Spunner). She was the third of five children in the family, and her sisters were Joan, artist and educator Frances Derham, and Claire, who became the first female engineering student at the University of Melbourne.
