Aglamesis Brother's, commonly referred to as Aglamesis, is an ice cream parlor in Cincinnati, Ohio with 3 locations in Oakley, Montgomery, and Hamilton, Ohio. The business was founded by Greek immigrant brothers in 1908. In addition to ice cream, the company also sells milkshakes and candy. The business is currently owned and operated Mr. Aglamesis's grandchildren. History The company was founded by Greek immigrants Thomas and Nicholas Aglamesis. Thomas immigrated from their family farm near Sparta, Greece in 1903; his brother Nicholas joined him in 1905. Fentons Creamery is a historic ice cream parlor and restaurant located on Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, California, Piedmont Avenue in Oakland, California, United States. Fentons is the state’s longest continually operating creamery, with a small herd of dairy cows in West Marin. History Eldridge Seth Fenton opened Fentons Creamery in 1894 on the corner of 41st and Howe streets. The business moved to its present location in 1961, a few blocks away. In 1894, Eldridge Seth’s grandson, Melvin Fenton, was responsible for creating Rocky Road, as well as Swiss Milk Chocolate and Toasted Almond. Fentons was then destroyed by an arson fire in 2001.
