ANSI Escape Code
ANSI escape sequences are a standard for in-band signaling to control cursor location, color, font styling, and other options on video text terminals and terminal emulators. Certain sequences of bytes, most starting with an Escape character#ASCII escape character, ASCII escape character and a bracket character, are embedded into text. The terminal interprets these sequences as commands, rather than text to display verbatim. ANSI sequences were introduced in the 1970s to replace vendor-specific sequences and became widespread in the computer equipment market by the early 1980s. Ansi City
Ansi City ( zh, s=安市城; Goguryeo: 安寸忽; ), also known as Ansi Fortress, was a Goguryeo fortified city in present-day Liaoning province, China. The city was founded in early 4th century after Goguryeo conquered the area, and received its name from a Han dynasty prefecture of the same name. The ruins of the city are identified with a site at Yingchengzi (), to the southeast of Haicheng. Ansi was a major city of the Goguryeo and the scene of a major siege and battle between the Goguryeo and Tang dynasty China in 645 CE. Al-ʿAnsī () is an ancient and prolific tribe originating in the Al Jawf Governorate region of Yemen. After the final breach of the Marib Dam about 570 CE, its members spread across the Arabian Peninsula. Aswad Ansi
Abhala bin Ka'b al-Aswad al-Ansi (; died June 632), was a 7th-century leader of the Banu Ans tribe and a self-proclaimed prophet, one of the four major figures who declared to be prophets during the Wars of Apostasy. Biography He was born near Najran and later lived in Yemen and proclaimed his prophethood towards the end of the Muhammad's lifetime. He was also known as "the Veiled," or Dhu al-Khimar (), as he used to cover his face to create an aura of mystery. A soothsayer and sorcerer, Aswad had the ability to dazzle a crowd with tricks. According to tradition, he had a donkey whom he had trained to kneel before him: he would tell the donkey "Kneel before your lord" and it would kneel, and then he would say to it "Bow before your lord" and it would bow. Ansi Agolli (born 11 October 1982) is an Albanian former professional footballer who played as a left-back or left midfielder. He spent a large part of his club career with Qarabağ of the Azerbaijan Premier League. He made 73 appearances scoring two goals for the Albania national team, also captaining the team. Ansi Nika (born 22 August 1990) is an Albanian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Nika begun his professional career with Ada Velipojë where he played for two seasons, before joining his boyhood club Vllaznia Shkodër at the start of 2009–10 season. Nika signed a new one-year contract with Teuta Durrës on 19 June 2014. A day later, he was loaned out to Kukësi for their UEFA Europa League qualification games. Nasser Bin Ali Al-Ansi
Nasser bin Ali al-Ansi (October 1975 – 21 April 2015) was a senior leader of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) based in Yemen. Al-Ansi appeared in many of AQAP's propaganda videos, claiming the kidnap of US photojournalist Luke Somers and the Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris. On 7 May 2015, AQAP announced that al-Ansi was killed in a US drone strike. Biography In 1993, al-Ansi enrolled at the Iman University, which was headed by Sheikh Abdul Majid al-Zindani, a longtime ally of Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda. In 1996 he tried to fight in Kashmir, but the Pakistani authorities prevented him from doing so. Instead, he went to Afghanistan where he met senior al-Qaeda officials, Abu Hafs al-Masri and Saif al-Adel. Along with other al-Qaeda members, al-Ansi tried to join the Civil war in Tajikistan but failed to reach the country "due to the heavy snow".
