4Him
4Him was a contemporary Christian group founded in 1990 in Mobile, Alabama, US. The group has ten Dove awards, a Grammy nomination and three certified gold albums to their credit. The group was inducted into Alabama's Music Hall of Fame, following the awarding of The Governor’s Achievement Award. The group has also been featured performers for popular Christian Evangelist crusaders, Billy Graham and Luis Palau. 4Him disbanded in 2006 to pursue individual careers of ministry and music. Mark Harris is an American contemporary Christian music (CCM) singer and songwriter. Career Harris began his music career in the contemporary Christian music group Truth after graduating from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. 4Him (1989–2006) Harris is a founding member of the CCM male quartet, 4Him, which toured and recorded from 1990 to 2006. He wrote or co-wrote 25 number-one songs. 4Him won eight GMA Dove Awards, and were nominated for a Grammy Award for their album ''The Message''. Andy Chrisman
Andy Chrisman is a former member of the American contemporary Christian music group 4Him, a solo Christian music recording artist and a worship leader. Background Chrisman originally met the other 4Him members when they sang together in Truth, a contemporary Christian vocal group founded in the late 1960s and directed by Roger Breland. Representatives from a record label heard the band a few times and signed them to become a Christian band. Their first single was "Where there is Faith". Chrisman left 4Him sometime in the 2000s to pursue a solo career. He released his first solo recording, ''One'', in 2004. He has also been a worship pastor at Church on the Move, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Truth (American Band)
Truth was an American Contemporary Christian group, active from 1971 to 2001. Formed by John Roger Breland, the ensemble's name stands for "Trust, Receive, Unchangeable, True Happiness n Jesus. It was initially composed of some 15 members who toured extensively year-round, eventually recording frequently as well. It eventually expanded to 22 members and continued touring regularly for thirty years, dissolving in 2001. In 2000, the group was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Beginnings The youth choir at Spring Hill Baptist in Mobile, Alabama, grew over the course of two years from 8 youth choir members to 140 members. Benson Records was founded by Bob Benson and John T. Benson, who formed the John T. Benson Music Publishing Company in 1902. Mylon R. LeFevre (born October 6, 1944) is an American Christian rock singer best known for his work with his band Mylon and Broken Heart. He is a member of the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.
