2022–23 UEFA Champions League Group Stage
The 2022–23 UEFA Champions League group stage began on 6 September 2022 and ended on 2 November 2022. A total of 32 teams competed in the group stage to decide the 16 places in the 2022–23 UEFA Champions League knockout phase, knockout phase of the 2022–23 UEFA Champions League. Eintracht Frankfurt made their debut appearance in the group stage, which was their first appearance in the European Cup since their loss in the 1960 European Cup Final, 1960 final, after winning the 2021–22 UEFA Europa League. 2022–23 UEFA Champions League Knockout Phase
The 2022–23 UEFA Champions League knockout phase will begin on 14 February with the round of 16 and end on 10 June 2023 with the 2023 UEFA Champions League Final, final at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey, to decide the champions of the 2022–23 UEFA Champions League. A total of 16 teams will compete in the knockout phase. Times are Central European Time, CET/Central European Summer Time, CEST, as listed by UEFA (local times, if different, are in parentheses). Qualified teams The knockout phase involves the 16 teams which qualified as winners and runners-up of each of the eight groups in the 2022–23 UEFA Champions League group stage, group stage.
