A year or annus is the orbital period of a planetary body, for example, the Earth, moving in its orbit around the Sun. Rodolfo Alejandro Suarez (born 20 April 1963) is an Argentine Radical Civic Union politician who is currently serving as governor of Mendoza Province, since 10 December 2019. Previously, from 2014 to 2019, he was ''intendente'' (mayor) of the City of Mendoza, having assumed office following the death of then-mayor VÃctor Fayad. Suarez wanted to reform the Constitution, which has not been updated for more than 100 years. The Constitution (1916) of Mendoza Province, Argentina, states that the executive power of the province will be led by a citizen chosen as a governor by the people for a four-year term, and not allowed to be re-elected for the immediately following term. Before it was constituted as a province in 1920, Mendoza Province was known as the Province of Cuyo. Before 1813, it was part of Córdoba Province. The office of governor came into existence when the independent province was created. Since that time Mendoza Province has had almost a hundred governors, as well as other types of officials in charge of the executive power. Ricardo Clemente Quintela (born 16 March 1960) is an Argentine Justicialist Party politician who is currently Governor of La Rioja Province, since 11 December 2019. He was previously Mayor of the City of La Rioja from 2003 to 2015, as well as a member of the provincial legislature during two non-consecutive terms and a National Deputy from 1997 to 2003. Since 2020, Quintela has been the president of the La Rioja chapter of the Justicialist Party. Previously, from 2015 to 2019, he was a National Deputy for La Pampa. Early life and education Sergio Raúl Ziliotto was born on 24 September 1962 in General Pico, La Pampa Province. His father, son of immigrants, was a policeman, and also worked as a trucker. He moved to the provincial capital, Santa Rosa, to enroll at the National University of La Pampa (UNLPam). Gerardo Rubén Morales (born 18 July 1959) is an Argentine politician, Governor of Jujuy Province and Secretary General of the Radical Civic Union. He was a member of the Argentine Senate representing Jujuy Province, elected for the Front of Jujuy. He was a candidate for Vice President of Argentina on Roberto Lavagna's UNA ticket in the 2007 elections. Since 2015, he has been Governor of Jujuy, the first non- Peronist elected to the post since the restoration of democracy. Biography Morales was born in Jujuy Province.
