2021 Serbia Open
The 2021 Serbia Open was a tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It was the 5th and 1st edition of the event for male and female professional tennis players, respectively. It was part of the 2021 ATP Tour and the 2021 WTA Tour and took place in Belgrade, Serbia; in mid-April for men and mid-May for women. ATP Tour 250
The ATP 250 tournaments (previously known as the ''ATP World Tour 250'' tournaments, ''ATP International Series'', and ''ATP World Series'') are the lowest tier of annual men's tennis tournaments on the main ATP Tour, after the four Grand Slam tournaments, ATP Finals, ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, and ATP 500 tournaments. As of 2020, the series includes 39 tournaments, with 250 ranking points awarded to each singles champion—which accounts for the name of the series. Aslan Karatsev
Aslan Kazbekovich Karatsev (russian: Аслан Казбекович Карацев, os, Хъарацаты Хъазыбеджы фырт Аслан; born 4 September 1993) is a Russian-Israeli professional tennis player. He reached a career-high singles ATP ranking of world No. 14 on 7 February 2022, and peaked at No. 76 in the doubles rankings on 16 May 2022. In February 2021, Karatsev went through qualifiers for the Australian Open. In his first main draw of a major, ranked 114th, he defeated 8th seed Diego Schwartzman, 20th seed Félix Auger-Aliassime and 18th seed Grigor Dimitrov to reach the semifinals. Nikola Milojević ( sr-Cyrl, Никола Милојевић, ; born 19 June 1995) is a Serbian professional tennis player. Milojević has a career high ATP singles ranking of No. 125, which he achieved on 21 February 2022. He also achieved a career high ATP doubles ranking of No. 252 on 18 February 2019. A wild card (also wildcard or wild-card and also known as an at-large berth or at-large bid) is a tournament or playoff berth awarded to an individual or team that fails to qualify in the normal way; for example, by having a high ranking or winning a qualifying stage. Laslo Đere ( sr-Cyrl, Ласло Ђере; ; born 2 June 1995) is a Serbian professional tennis player. He is a member of the Hungarian community in Serbia. He has won two ATP Tour singles titles, one an ATP 500 Series event in Rio in 2019, after which he made break-through into top 30, and the inaugural Forte Village Sardegna Open in 2020, an ATP 250 event. Dušan Lajović ( sr-cyrl, Душан Лајовић; born 30 June 1990) is a Serbian professional tennis player. Lajović has won one singles and two doubles titles on the ATP Tour.
