2018 Saskatchewan Party Leadership Election
The 2018 Saskatchewan Party leadership election was held on January 27, 2018, due to the announcement on August 10, 2017, by Premier Brad Wall that he would be retiring from politics once his successor was chosen. The winner, Scott Moe, succeeded Wall as Premier of Saskatchewan on February 2, 2018. The leadership election was conducted by a one member-one vote preferential ballot system with voters able to either mail-in ballots or vote in person. Candidates had a $250,000 campaign expense limit and were required to disclose the names of contributors who donate $250 or more. The deadline for membership sales for those wanting to vote was on December 8, 2017. Patrick Bundrock is the Chief Electoral Officer. Laura Ross (politician)
Laura Ross is a Canadian politician. She was elected to represent the electoral district of Regina Qu'Appelle Valley in the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan in the 2007 election, having previously run unsuccessfully in the electoral district of Regina Douglas Park in the 2003 election. Ross was re-elected in the 2011 election, and since then has been re-elected twice more in the riding of Regina Rochdale. She is a member of the Saskatchewan Party. In July 2010, Ross was appointed Minister for Government Services. Biography Laura Ross was born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Raised on her family's farm, Ross attained a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in geography and sociology from the University of Regina before entering the workforce. Ross, along with her husband Terry, were farmers before entering the catering business as a self-employed person. After exiting the world of catering, Ross moved into residential real estate, working in this field for over twenty years.

Dan D'Autremont
Daniel H. D'Autremont (born December 28, 1950) is a Canadian provincial politician. He was a member of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, representing the constituency of Cannington and its predecessor Souris-Cannington from 1991 to 2020. He served as Speaker of the Legislative Assembly from 2011 to 2016. He was born in Redvers, Saskatchewan, the son of Hugh and Violet D'Autremont, and grew up on the family farm about two miles east of Alida. D'Autremont studied engineering at the University of Calgary. He worked in the oil industry for a number of years before taking up farming in the Redvers area in 1977. Indian Head-Milestone
Indian Head-Milestone is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada. Located in southern Saskatchewan, this riding was created through the ''Representation Act, 1994'' (Saskatchewan) by combining the riding of Indian Head-Wolseley with part of the riding of Bengough-Milestone. With the final report of the 2022 boundary commission, the riding will be eliminated at the next general election, with the bulk of its population going to the new riding of White City-Qu'appelle. Don McMorris
Don McMorris (born July 12, 1961) is a Canadian provincial politician, in the province of Saskatchewan. He is the Saskatchewan Party member of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan for the constituency of Indian Head-Milestone, a position he has held since the 1999 provincial election when he was elected as a member of the Saskatchewan Party. A former Minister of Health, he was the Deputy Premier and Minister of Crown Investments in the Saskatchewan provincial government. On August 6, 2016, he resigned from the Saskatchewan Party caucus and from Executive Council, where he was the Deputy Premier and minister responsible for Saskatchewan Government Insurance and the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority, after being charged with impaired driving the previous day. Alanna Koch is a Canadian civil servant and politician in the province of Saskatchewan. She previously ran for the leadership of the governing Saskatchewan Party, losing to Scott Moe on the fifth ballot. Early life Koch grew up on a farm near Edenwold, Saskatchewan, northeast of Regina.
