Legislative Assembly Of Marche
The Legislative Assembly of Marche (''Assemblea Legislativa delle Marche'') is the legislative assembly of Marche. Founded as "Regional Council of Marche", it changed its name into "Legislative Assembly" in 2004. It was first elected in 1970, when the ordinary regions were instituted, on the basis of the Constitution of Italy of 1948. Composition The Council was originally composed of 40 regional councillors. Following the decree-law n. 138 of 13 August 2011, the number of regional councillors was reduced to 30, with an additional seat reserved for the President of the Region. Communist Refoundation Party
The Communist Refoundation Party ( it, Partito della Rifondazione Comunista, PRC) is a communist political party in Italy that emerged from a split of the Italian Communist Party (PCI) in 1991. The party's secretary is Maurizio Acerbo, who replaced Paolo Ferrero in 2017. Armando Cossutta was the party's founder, while Fausto Bertinotti its longest-serving leader (1994–2008). The latter transformed the PRC from a traditional communist party into a collection of radical social movements. The PRC is a member of the Party of the European Left (PEL), of which Bertinotti was the inaugural president in 2004. Left Ecology Freedom ( it, Sinistra Ecologia Libertà, SEL) was a democratic socialist political party in Italy whose bulk was formed by former members of the Communist Refoundation Party. Popular Area ( it, Area Popolare, AP) was a centre-right and mainly Christian-democratic coalition, which included two parliamentary groups active in each house of the Italian Parliament: the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate. Marche 2020 – Party of Marche ( it, Marche 2020 – Partito delle Marche, M20 or M2020) is a regional centrist and Christian-democratic political party in Marche, Italy. Lega Nord (; acronym: LN), whose complete name is (), is a right-wing, federalist, populist and conservative political party in Italy. In the run-up of the 2018 general election, the party was rebranded as (), without changing its official name.
