2014 WAFF Women's Championship
The 2014 West Asian Football Federation Women's Championship tournament was held from 15 to 19 April 2014 in Amman, Jordan. It was the fifth edition of the West Asian Football Federation Women's Championship. The tournament was won by Jordan, who won all of their games. Teams and format Four teams entered the tournament. A single round robin was played. Group was announced on 27 March 2014. Abeer Al-Nahar
Abeer Mahmoud Mubarak Al-Nahar ( ar, عبير النهار; born 13 February 1991) is a Jordanian international footballer who plays as a forward. Club career In May 2015 Al-Nahar played for Amman Club in a 5–3 win over rivals Shabab Al-Ordon, which secured the Jordan Women's Football League title. International career As a 15-year-old Al-Nahar was included in the Jordan national team squad who were beaten 13–0 by Japan at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha. In 2011 Al-Nahar and her father were outspoken critics of FIFA's ban on hijabs. Two years later she got six goals as Jordan "hammered" Kuwait 21–0 in 2014 AFC Women's Asian Cup qualification. During Jordan's victorious 2014 WAFF Women's Championship campaign, Al-Nahar scored four goals in a 7–0 win over Qatar and finished as the tournament top scorer. Reem Al-Naemi
REEM is the latest prototype humanoid robot built by PAL Robotics in Spain. It is a 1.70 m high humanoid robot with 22 degrees of freedom, with a mobile base with wheels, allowing it to move at 4 km/hour. The upper part of the robot consists of a torso with a touch screen, two motorized arms, which give it a high degree of expression, and a head, which is also motorized. REEM-A and REEM-B are the first and second prototypes of humanoid robots created by PAL Robotics. REEM-B can recognize, grasp and lift objects and walk by itself, avoiding obstacles through simultaneous localization and mapping. The robot accepts voice commands and can recognize faces. Shahnaz Yaseen Mahmoud Jebreen (; born 28 July 1992) is a Jordanian footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Jordan national team. Club career At the club level, Jebreen played for Amman and Orthodox in Jordan. She was nominated Best Player of the 2022 WAFF Women's Clubs Championship, in which Orthodox finished runners-up.
