2013 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Grand Champions Cup
The 2013 FIVB Women's World Grand Champions Cup was held in Nagoya and Tokyo, Japan from November 12 to 17, 2013. Brazil won their second title and Brazilian Fabiana Claudino was selected the Most Valuable Player. Teams Competition formula The competition formula of the 2013 Women's World Grand Champions Cup was a single Round-Robin system. Each team played once against each of the five remaining teams. Points were accumulated during the whole tournament, and the final standing was determined by the total points gained. Tandara Caixeta
Tandara Alves Caixeta (born 30 October 1988) is a Brazilian professional volleyball player. She plays for the Brazil women's national volleyball team and for Sesc-Rio in the Brazilian Superliga. She competed for Brazil in the 2012 Summer Olympics, winning a gold medal. She is tall. She is the daughter of Evaldo Caixeta, a former amateur player with Banco do Brasil Athletic Association. At the age of nine, after trying many different sports, she saw a TV advert and decided to go to a volleyball trial. In 2011, she was selected for the Brazil team for the first time and won gold in the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara before becoming an Olympic champion in London in 2012. Onuma Sittirak
Onuma Sittirak (, , ; born June 13, 1986, in Khian Sa) is a retired Thai volleyball player was a member of Thailand women's national volleyball team. She was born 13 June 1986 at Surat Thani, Thailand. Onuma graduated from Ratna Bundit University Career Onuma started playing volleyball as a spiker for Thailand's national team in 2006. In 2009, she helped the Thai team won the Asian Championship for the first time and was also awarded the Most Valuable Player of the tournament. During the tournament, she was called "Thailand's Toy Cannon" in an article by the Asian Volleyball Confederation. is a former Japanese volleyball player who played for Toray Arrows. She was served as captain of the team since 2013. She was also part of the Japanese team that won the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She was retired from being volleyball player in 2015. Caroline de Oliveira Saad Gattaz, better known as Carol Gattaz (born July 27, 1981), is a volleyball player from Brazil. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics, in the Women's tournament, winning a silver medal. Gattaz won the World Grand Prix three times in a row. Camila de Paula Brait (born October 28, 1988) is a volleyball player from Frutal, Brazil, who plays as a libero. She currently defends Osasco Voleibol Clube and is retired from the Brazilian national team. She won the silver medal while representing Brazil at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
