2012 Ohio State Buckeyes Football Team
The 2012 Ohio State Buckeyes football team represented Ohio State University in the 2012 NCAA Division I FBS football season. It was the Buckeye's 123rd season overall, the 100th as a member of the Big Ten Conference and the second as a members of the Big Ten Leaders Division. The team was led by head coach Urban Meyer in his return to coaching after retiring from Florida in 2010 due to health concerns. Big Ten Football Championship Game
The Big Ten Football Championship Game is a college football game held by the Big Ten Conference each year to determine the conference's season champion. The game, held after the regular season has been completed, matches the division champions from the conference's West and East divisions. It is typically held the first Saturday of December, although in 2020 it was played on the third Saturday of December due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Johnathan Hankins (born March 30, 1992) is an American football defensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Ohio State, where he received All-American honors, and was drafted by the New York Giants in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
