2008–09 Turkish Cup
The 2008–09 Turkish Cup, also known due to sponsorship reasons as the ''Fortis Türkiye Kupası'', was the 47th edition of the annual tournament that determined the association football Süper Lig Turkish Cup ( tr, Türkiye Kupası) champion under the auspices of the Turkish Football Federation ( tr, Türkiye Futbol Federasyonu; TFF). (Beşiktaş) successfully contested Fenerbahçe in the final, 4–2. This tournament was conducted under the UEFA Cup system having replaced at the 44th edition a standard knockout competition scheme. Beşiktaş completed the double having successfully won 2008–09 Süper Lig. First round The draw for the First Round was conducted at the headquarters of the TFF in İstanbul on 22 August 2008. Kayserispor
Kayseri Spor Kulübü, commonly known as Kayserispor, is a Turkish professional football club based in Kayseri. They play their home matches at the Kadir Has Stadium in red and yellow kits. The team has won one Turkish Cup in 2008 and also finished as Turkish Super Cup runners-up in the same year. They finished fifth in the Turkish Super League four times, in 2005–06, 2006–07, 2007–08, and 2012–13. Internationally, Kayserispor was one of the co-winners of the 2006 Intertoto Cup. Extra Time
Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. Çaykur Rizespor Kulübü is a Turkish professional football club based in Rize. The club play in the TFF First League. The club was founded on May 19, 1953, with green-yellow as club colours, but later changed to blue-green.
