The 16th Arabian Gulf Cup ( ar, كأس الخليج العربي) was held in Kuwait, between 26 December 2003 to 11 January 2004. All matches were played Al-Sadaqua Walsalam Stadium. Talal Yousef
Talal Yousef Mohammed (born 24 February 1975), known mainly as Talal Yousef, is a former Bahraini footballer. Yousef played mainly as an attacking midfielder and sometimes as a striker. He is currently retired from playing with the Bahrain national football team, where he made 21 appearances in FIFA World Cup qualifying matches. Early career Talal started his career with Isa Town, where he also captained. He met Salman Isa, another legend of Bahraini football, at the club. Mohamed Ahmed Youssef Salmeen ( ar, محمد احمد يوسف سالمين; born 4 November 1980) is a Bahraini former professional footballer who played for Muharraq and the Bahrain national team. He was captain of the Bahrain national team and wore the number 10 jersey for his club and country. He is the son of Bahraini footballer Ahmed Salmeen. Salmeen participated in three World Cup qualifying campaigns. He played in Qatar from 2004 to 2007 with Al-Arabi. Club career Salmeen announced the retirement in 2016. 2004 Gulf Cup Of Nations
The 17th Arabian Gulf Cup ( ar, كأس الخليج العربي) was held in Doha, Qatar in 2004. It marked the return of the Iraqi National team back to the competition, following the fall of Saddam Hussein. The Al-Sadaqua Walsalam Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Adiliya Kuwait City, Kuwait. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 21,500. It is the 2nd largest stadium in Kuwait. The Stadium hosted many finals for the Kuwait Emir Cup and Kuwait Crown Cup. The Iraq national football team ( ar, منتخب العراق لكرة القدم) represents Iraq in international football and is controlled by the Iraq Football Association (IFA), the governing body for football in Iraq. The Arabian Gulf Cup ( ar, كأس الخليج العربي, ''Kass Al-Khaleej Al-Arabi''), often referred to simply as the Gulf Cup, is a biennial football competition governed by the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation for its eight member nations. The history of the competition has also seen it held every three to four years due to political or organisational problems.
