The 2003 Formula Renault V6 Eurocup season began on April, 5 at Circuit de Catalunya. 2003 was the first season of this championship created by Renault as a support series in Eurosport's Super Racing Weekends ( ETCC and FIA GT Championship). Circuit De Catalunya
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya () is a motorsport race track in Montmeló, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. With long straights and a variety of corners, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is seen as an all-rounder circuit. The track has stands with a capacity of 140,700. The circuit has FIA Grade 1 license. Until 2013 the track was known only as the ''Circuit de Catalunya'', before a sponsorship deal with Barcelona City Council added Barcelona to the track's title. Charles Hall (racing Driver)
Charles Hall (born 13 November 1979) is a British racing driver from Sheffield, England. After beginning racing in karts, he moved to car racing in 1997 at age 18 in BARC Formula Renault and the Formula Vauxhall Winter Series. He finished second in the main championship of Formula Vauxhall the following year in 1998. In 1999 he drove in the British Formula Three Championship B-class and finished 5th in the Formula Vauxhall Europa Cup. In 2000 he competed in British Formula Renault and finished 6th with one victory at Silverstone Circuit. After starting 2001 in Formula Renault 2000 UK, he moved to the United States mid year to compete in Toyota Atlantic. In 2002 he competed in several different series. In 2003 he captured the Fran-Am 2000 winter series championship in the United States and drove in assorted other races in Europe. Circuito de Albacete is a motorsports facility located in Albacete, Spain, opened in 1990. The main circuit is long with 14 turns, 8 of them right turns and 6 left turns. Giorgio Mondini
Giorgio Mondini (Born July 19, 1980) is an automobile racing driver from Geneva, Switzerland. Career Mondini began his competitive racing career at the age of 21, when he came 26th in the Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup series. In 2002 he made his way up to 17th place, before moving on to Formula Renault V6 Eurocup. In 2003 he achieved 7th place, and in 2004 became champion with three wins, three pole positions and a total of eight podiums. In 2005 he competed in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series with Eurointernational before moving to GP2 with DPR. He also tests for the Swiss A1GP team. When he made his GP2 debut in 2005 he raced with an Italian racing license. In December 2005, Giorgio enjoyed his first taste of Formula One when he got behind the wheel of a Renault R25 as a reward for winning the Formula Renault V6 series. Can Artam (born 30 June 1981, in Istanbul) is a Turkish race car driver born into a car racing family. He raced in the 2005 GP2 Series for the iSport team and was the 2001 US Barber Formula Dodge champion. Career Artam's career begun in karting in 1999, and he moved up to the Turkish Touring Car Championship in 2001. Later in the year he also raced in US Barber Formula Dodge, winning the title. He remained in the TTCC in 2002, also racing in North American Fran Am 2000 Pro Championship and some races of Turkish Formula Three Championship, whilst returning to karting for some events. EuroInternational is a racing organization (which includes Italian division EuroInternational Srl and American division EuroInternational Inc.) owned by Antonio Ferrari, grandnephew of Enzo Ferrari, formerly known as Euromotorsport. History Originally known as Euromotorsport, the team made its CART debut in 1989 with Jean-Pierre Frey at Phoenix. Andrea Belicchi (born 18 December 1976) is an Italian professional racing driver. He has competed in such series as the Porsche Supercup, Le Mans Series and FIA World Endurance Championship. He won the Russian Formula Three Championship in 2002 and Finnish Formula Three Championship in 2003 with Lukoil Racing and previously the Renault Sport Spider Elf Trophy in 1998.
