2025 Namibia Tri-Nation Series
The 2025 Namibia Tri-Nation Series was the tenth round of the 2024–2026 Cricket World Cup League 2 cricket tournament that took place in Namibia in March 2025. It was a tri-nation series contested by the men's national teams of Canada, Namibia and the Netherlands. The matches were played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures. 2024–2026 Cricket World Cup League 2
The 2024–2026 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 is the second edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2, a cricket tournament which forms part of the 2027 Cricket World Cup qualification process. As a result of the scrapping of Super League, this cycle of League 2 saw an increase from 7 to 8 teams. The rise in team count led to an increase in the total number of fixtures from 126 to 144. Scotland entered the competition as the defending champions. Teams and qualification The previous World Cup qualification cycle allowed for promotion of the League 2 champion to the Super League. However, the scrapping of that tournament meant that the previous League 2 champions, Scotland, remained in this competition, and Netherlands were added having previously played in the Super League. Niko Davin
Nikolaas Davin (born 19 December 1997) is a Namibian cricketer. In January 2016 he was named in Namibia's squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. In June 2024, he became the first batsman to have ever been dismissed in " retired out" fashion in the history of ICC Men's T20 World Cup. Career He made his List A debut on 11 October 2015 in the CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge tournament. He made his first-class debut for Namibia in the 2017–18 Sunfoil 3-Day Cup on 11 January 2018.
