2025 CFL Season
The 2025 CFL season is the 71st List of Canadian Football League seasons, season of modern professional Canadian football. Officially, it is the 67th season of the Canadian Football League. Winnipeg is scheduled to host the 112th Grey Cup on November 16, 2025. CFL news in 2025 Salary cap According to the new collective bargaining agreement, the 2025 salary cap was scheduled to be set at $5,650,000. However, on February 5, 2025, the league announced that the salary cap would grow by $412,365 to reach $6,062,365 (or $134,719 per active roster spot). The increase was driven by the revenue growth sharing model which first went into effect in 2024, but this was the first year that it impacted the salary cap. The cap excludes unlimited non-football related services payments and preseason and playoff bonus money. 112th Grey Cup
The 112th Grey Cup will be played to decide the Canadian Football League (CFL) championship for the 2025 CFL season, 2025 season. The game is scheduled to be played at Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It will be the fifth time that Winnipeg has hosted the Grey Cup, with the most recent being in 103rd Grey Cup, 2015. The game will be televised in Canada nationally on The Sports Network, TSN and Réseau des sports, RDS. Host In October 2022, it was reported that the Winnipeg Blue Bombers were bidding to host either the 111th Grey Cup, 2024 or 2025 Grey Cup game, with the Manitoba government offering to contribute up to $5.5 million for the bid. Samuel Emilus (born October 25, 1997) is a Canadian professional football wide receiver for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). College career Emilus played college football for the UMass Minutemen from 2018 to 2020. Thomas Bertrand-Hudon
Thomas Bertrand-Hudon (born October 11, 1996) is a Canadian professional football running back for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Delaware State. Early life Bertrand-Hudon was born in Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Quebec. He played CEGEP football at Champlain College Lennoxville. College career Bertrand-Hudon played college football for the Delaware State Hornets from 2018 to 2022. He did not appear in any games in 2018. Nathan Rourke (born May 24, 1998) is a Canadian professional football quarterback for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Rourke played college football for the Ohio Bobcats. In professional sports, a free agent is a player or manager who is eligible to sign with other clubs or franchises; i.e., not under contract to any specific team. The term is also used in reference to a player who is under a contract at present but who is allowed to solicit offers from other teams. In some circumstances, the free agent's options are limited by the league's rules.
