2024 Imola Formula 3 Round
The 2024 Imola FIA Formula 3 round was a motor racing event held between 17 and 19 May 2024 at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, Italy. It was the third round of the 2024 FIA Formula 3 Championship and was held in support of the 2024 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. Classification Summary Trident achieved a 1-2-3 classification in qualifying at Imola Circuit, with Santiago Ramos on feature race pole position ahead of teammates Leonardo Fornaroli and Sami Meguetounif. Kacper Sztuka started the sprint race from first place, but was overtaken by Noel León at the first corner. León held the position ahead of Oliver Goethe and Tim Tramnitz through four safety car restarts. A virtual safety car was deployed on the penultimate lap after sixth-place Browning collided with Sztuka and retired in the gravel. Autodromo Internazionale Enzo E Dino Ferrari
The Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, better known as Imola, is a motor racing circuit in the town of Imola, in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, east of Bologna. It is one of the few major international circuits to run in an anti-clockwise direction. The circuit is named after Ferrari's late founder, Enzo Ferrari (1898–1988), and his son, Alfredo "Dino" Ferrari (1932–1956). Before Enzo's death, it was called Autodromo Dino Ferrari. The circuit has an FIA Grade One licence. Imola was the venue for the San Marino Grand Prix between 1981 and 2006. During this period, two Grands Prix were held in Italy every year, with the Italian Grand Prix taking place at Monza, so the Imola race was named after the nearby state. Imola also hosted the 1980 Italian Grand Prix in place of Monza. Hitech Grand Prix (formerly known as Hitech Racing) is a British motor racing team. It was founded in 2002 by Dennis Rushen and David Hayle. Luke Browning (born 31 January 2002) is a British racing driver, he is the current GB3 Championship Champion driving for Hitech Grand Prix. ART Grand Prix is a French motor racing team that competes in formula single-seaters in Europe. Laurens van Hoepen (born 6 September 2005) is a Dutch racing driver who currently competes in the Formula Regional European Championship with ART Grand Prix, having previously raced in the Ultimate Cup Series in 2021. Gabriele Minì (born 20 March 2005) is an Italian racing driver who is scheduled to race in the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship with Hitech Grand Prix. He is the 2020 Italian F4 Champion, and was runner-up during the 2022 Formula Regional European Championship. Career Karting Minì started his karting career in 2012. His first karting title came in the Italian Championship in 2017 in the 60 Mini Class at the age of 12. Arvid Lindblad (born 8 August 2007) is a British racing driver with Indian and Swedish ancestry, who is currently set to drive in the FIA Formula 3 Championship for Prema Racing.
