The 2023 Zandvoort Formula 2 round was a motor racing event held between 25 and 27 August 2023 at the Circuit Zandvoort. It was the eleventh round of the 2023 Formula 2 Championship and was held in support of the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix. Classification Qualifying Notes * - Ayumu Iwasa received a five-place grid penalty for causing a collision with Dennis Hauger at the Spa-Francorchamps feature race. * - Richard Verschoor was handed a three-place grid penalty for impeding Zane Maloney in qualifying. Circuit Zandvoort (), known for sponsorship reasons as CM.com Circuit Zandvoort, and previously known as Circuit Park Zandvoort until 2017, is a motorsport race track located in the dunes north of Zandvoort, the Netherlands, near the North Sea coast line. It returned to the Formula One calendar in 2021 as the location of the revived Dutch Grand Prix. History 1930s to mid 1980s There were plans for races at Zandvoort before World War II: the first street race was held on 3 June 1939. Jehan Daruvala (born 1 October 1998) is an Indian racing driver currently serving as a reserve driver for the Mahindra Racing Formula E team. Richard Verschoor (born 16 December 2000) is a Dutch racing driver set to compete for Van Amersfoort Racing in the Formula 2 Championship. Verschoor graduated to Formula 2 in 2021 with MP Motorsport before switching to Charouz Racing System, after two years in the FIA Formula 3 Championship with MP Motorsport. is a Japanese racing driver currently competing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship with DAMS. He previously raced in the FIA Formula 3 Championship with Hitech Grand Prix. Campos Racing is a Spanish motor racing team, founded by former Formula One driver Adrián Campos. The team has been successful in Formula Three and the GP2 Series. Théo Jérôme Julien Pourchaire (born 20 August 2003) is a French racing driver, who most recently competed in the FIA Formula 2 Championship for the ART Grand Prix team and the reigining Formula 2 vice-champion.
