__NOTOC__ This is a list of the 10 European Tour (DP World Tour) players who earned PGA Tour card for the 2024 season via the 2023 Race to Dubai. As part of the PGA Tour strategic alliance expansion which had been signed in June 2022, the 2023 season saw the introduction of this intitiative. The top 10 players on the Race to Dubai (not otherwise exempt) earned status to play on the 2024 PGA Tour. The European Tour, currently titled as the DP World Tour for sponsorship reasons, and legally the PGA European Tour or the European Tour Group, is the leading men's professional golf tour in Europe. The organisation also operates the European Senior Tour (for players aged 50 or older) and the developmental Challenge Tour; the second tier of men's professional golf in Europe. The tour's headquarters are at Wentworth Club in Virginia Water, Surrey, England. Benjamin Griffin (born May 6, 1996) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Amateur career Griffin attended East Chapel Hill High School in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where he won two North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) 4A individual state championships. He then played college golf at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2014 to 2018, winning three tournaments and being named a two-time honorable mention All-America. The structure of the Korn Ferry Tour season and qualification for the PGA Tour was changed from what had been in place from 2013 to 2022, in which 25 cards had been awarded via the Korn Ferry Tour's regular-season points list and 25 more through the Korn Ferry Tour Finals points list. Jacob Richard Knapp (born May 31, 1994) is an American professional golfer. Early life Knapp was born on May 31, 1994, in Costa Mesa, California to Jennifer and Robert Knapp. His older brother, Ryan, was a golfer at Orange Coast College and the University of California, Irvine. Mexico Open (golf)
The Mexican Open (), also known as the Mexico Open and Abierto Mexicano de Golf, is the national open golf tournament of Mexico. History First played in 1944 at the Club de Golf Chapultepec, it was an event on the Tour de las Américas between 2003 and 2006, being co-sanctioned by the European Challenge Tour from 2004 to 2006. It became a Nationwide Tour event in 2008, and was rescheduled from December to January, which resulted in no tournament in 2007. Sami Välimäki (born 16 July 1998) is a Finnish professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour and the European Tour. In his 6th European Tour start, he won the 2020 Oman Open. Adam Derek Scott (born 16 July 1980) is an Australian professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He is a former world number one in the Official World Golf Ranking. He has won one major championship, the 2013 Masters Tournament. The Genesis Scottish Open is a professional golf tournament in Scotland, and is one of five tournaments that are part of the Rolex Series, which identifies it as one of the European Tour's premier events. It has been played on various courses, but in recent years it has been played on a links course, appealing to players who wish to gain experience before The Open, which takes place in the following week.
