2020 Barcelona Formula 2 Round
The 2020 Barcelona FIA Formula 2 round was a pair of motor races for Formula 2 cars that took place on 15–16 August 2020 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Catalonia, Spain as part of the FIA Formula 2 Championship. It was the sixth round of the 2020 FIA Formula 2 Championship and ran in support of the 2020 Spanish Grand Prix. It was the first time since 2018 where one team secured a double lock-up in terms of wins in both races as Dutch outfit MP Motorsport managed to win both the Feature Race and Sprint Race with Nobuharu Matsushita and Felipe Drugovich respectively. The last team doing that was ART Grand Prix, coincidentally at the same venue. Report Callum Ilott continued to score poles, outpacing Robert Shwartzman in the Barcelona Qualifying. Circuit De Barcelona-Catalunya
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya () is a motorsport race track in Montmeló, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. With long straights and a variety of corners, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is seen as an all-rounder circuit. The track has stands with a capacity of 140,700. The circuit has FIA Grade 1 license. Until 2013 the track was known only as the ''Circuit de Catalunya'', before a sponsorship deal with Barcelona City Council added Barcelona to the track's title. History The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya was built in 1991 and began hosting the Spanish Grand Prix that same year. Louis Delétraz (born 22 April 1997) is a Swiss racing driver currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series for Prema Orlen Team and in the IMSA SportsCar Championship for Tower Motorsport. Campos Racing is a Spanish motor racing team, founded by former Formula One driver Adrián Campos. The team has been successful in Formula Three and the GP2 Series.
