2019 Sochi Formula 3 Round
The 2019 Sochi FIA Formula 3 round was a motor racing event held on 28 and 29 September 2019 at the Sochi Autodrom, Sochi, Russia. It was the eighth and final race of the 2019 FIA Formula 3 Championship, and ran in support of the 2019 Russian Grand Prix. The title was clinched by Robert Shwartzman in the first race. Robert Mikhailovich Shwartzman ( rus, Ро́берт Миха́йлович Шва́рцман, p=ˈrobʲɪrt mʲɪˈxajləvʲɪtɕ ˈʂvartsmɐn, he, רוברט מיכאילוביץ' שוורצמן; born 16 September 1999) is a Russian-Israeli racing driver who currently serves as a development driver for the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One team. Shwartzman last competed in the FIA Formula 2 Championship for 2020 and 2021 where he finished 4th and 2nd respectively. ART Grand Prix is a French motor racing team that competes in formula single-seaters in Europe. In 2012, it competed in the GP2 Series and GP3 Series as Lotus GP to reflect sponsorship from British sports and racing car manufacturer Lotus. The team competed as Lotus ART in 2011. Devlin DeFrancesco (born January 17, 2000, Toronto, ON) is a Canadian-Italian auto racing driver currently competing in the IndyCar Series for Andretti Steinbrenner Autosport. Richard Verschoor (born 16 December 2000) is a Dutch racing driver set to compete for Van Amersfoort Racing in the Formula 2 Championship. Verschoor graduated to Formula 2 in 2021 with MP Motorsport before switching to Charouz Racing System, after two years in the FIA Formula 3 Championship with MP Motorsport. Maximilian Bradley Fewtrell (born 29 July 1999) is a British former racing driver, and former member of the Renault Sport Academy and 2016 British F4 champion.
