2019 Isle Of Man TT
The 2019 Isle of Man TT was held between 25 May and 7 June, on the Isle of Man TT Mountain Course. This year suffered from consistent inclement weather that affected the schedule and length of the races. The competitors only had two days of practice and only two were run at full length – the one-lap TT Zero and six-lap Dunlop Senior TT. This resulted in only one record being broken which was during the opening Sidecar race for Ben Birchall and Tom Birchall achieving a race time of 57:24.005 and race speed average of . This was the final year that the TT Zero event was held. The event saw the unfortunate passing of one competitor during the opening RST Superbike race, Daley Mathison from England. Michael Dunlop
Michael Dunlop (born 10 April 1989) is a Northern Irish professional motorcycle racer. Part of a motorcycle racing dynasty, Michael is the brother of the late William Dunlop, son of Robert and nephew of former World Champion Joey Dunlop. He won the Armoy road race on 27 July 2019 just 16 days after breaking his pelvis. The victories were Dunlop's 18th and 19th around his home circuit at Armoy. He is a former solo-machine lap record holder for the Snaefell Mountain Course set during the 2016 Senior TT in a time of 16 minutes 53.929 seconds at an average speed of . Dave Molyneux
Dave Molyneux (born 21 November 1963 in Douglas, Isle of Man) is a Manx professional Sidecar racer. He is the most successful Sidecar competitor in the history of the Isle of Man TT races, achieving 17 TT victories and 30 podium finishes. His race wins place him fourth on the all-time wins list, behind solo bike racers Joey Dunlop (26 wins), John McGuinness (23) and Michael Dunlop. Moly, as he is often known, was the sidecar lap record holder for the Snaefell mountain course set in 2015 with a time of 19 minutes 23.056 seconds, an average race speed of 116.785 mph for 1 lap. Tim Reeves
Tim Reeves (born 28 August 1972) is an English sidecar racer from Tenterden, Kent. He is an eight times Superside FIM World Sidecar Champion, twice with his younger brother Tristan (2005, 2006), once with Patrick Farrance (2007) and once with Ashley Hawes (2012) as passenger. In 2014 he won the Superside World Championship and the World F2 Sidecar Trophy in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben with French passenger Gregory Cluze. In 2008 Reeves and Farrance entered in their first Isle of Man Sidecar TT finishing an outstanding third place in race one and sixth in race two. Ian Lougher (born 10 July 1963) is a Welsh motorcycle racer, noted for 8 victories in the North West 200, 10 wins at the Isle of Man TT Races and 32 wins at the Southern 100 Races in his career. Racing career Born in Cardiff, Lougher competed in club motor-cycle events in South Wales from 1982 until 1989. Lougher's first race was at Llandow on a Yamaha RD400, and his first race win was in 1983 at Pembrey. John Warren McGuinness (16 April 1972) is an English specialist Isle of Man TT professional solo motorcycle rider with 23 wins. Until early 2017 he had a long association with Honda machines having factory support in road races like the Isle of Man TT, the North West 200 and the Macau Grand Prix, and also on the short tracks in the British Superstock and Supersport series. Ian Hutchinson (born 12 August 1979 in Bingley, West Yorkshire) is an England, English professional motorcycle road racing, road racer specialising in events held on closed public roads, such as the Isle of Man TT, the North West 200 and Ulster Grand Prix. Hutchinson's most successful racing year was in 2010, when he set the record of winning the most races in a single Isle of Man TT festival in June, achieving five solo wins, preceded by Supersport class at the North West 200 in Northern Ireland. At a British Supersport Championship, British Supersport round in September, Hutchinson crashed in wet conditions soon after the start suffering a badly broken left leg after being hit by a following rider's machine. Michael Karl Rutter (born 18 April 1972 in Wordsley, Staffordshire) nicknamed "The Blade", is a British motorcycle racer. He currently races in the National Superstock 1000 Championship aboard a BMW S1000RR. He has a reputation for being at his best in wet conditions and his favourite circuit is Oulton Park. The Isle of Man TT Mountain Course or ''TT Course'' is a street and public rural road circuit located in the Isle of Man, used for motorcycle racing. Conor Cummins (born 27 May 1986, in Douglas, Isle of Man) is a Manx motorcycle road racer who rides in British racing events, competing in the British Superstock Championship, as well as in specialist closed-road events at his home Isle of Man TT races and in Northern Ireland. A part-time seasonal racer, his normal income is derived from his business as a barista. He currently competes aboard a Honda CBR1000RR and a Honda CBR600RR. He was born during TT week in 1986, and became a professional rider in 2006. His father William 'Billy' Cummins contested the TT and Manx Grand Prix events and is still road racing.
