Somersworth is a city in Strafford County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 11,855 at the 2020 census. Somersworth has the smallest area and third-lowest population of New Hampshire's 13 cities. History Prior to European settlement, the area that is now Somersworth was central-south Abenaki land. Mark Kincaid Mackenzie (22 August 1888 – 25 September 1914) was a Scottish first-class cricketer and British Army officer. The son of Lord Mackenzie and Lady Mackenzie, he was born in Edinburgh in August 1888. He was educated at Winchester College, before going up to Magdalen College, Oxford.
