The 2018 Spa-Francorchamps GP3 Series round was the sixth round of the 2018 GP3 Series. It was held on 25 and 26 August 2018 at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Stavelot, Belgium. The race supported the 2018 Belgian Grand Prix. Circuit De Spa-Francorchamps
The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (), frequently referred to as ''Spa'', is a motor-racing circuit located in Stavelot, Belgium. It is the current venue of the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix, hosting its first Grand Prix in 1925, and has held a Grand Prix every year since 1985 (except 2003 and 2006). Spa also hosts several other international events including the 24 Hours of Spa, the World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. It is also home to the Uniroyal Fun Cup 25 Hours of Spa, one of the longest motor races in the world. The circuit has undergone several redesigns through its history, most extensively in 1979 when the track was modified and shortened from a circuit using public roads to a permanent circuit due to safety concerns with the old circuit. Joseph "Joey" Mawson (born 27 March 1996 in Sydney) is a professional racing driver from Australia, who is the current double champion of the Australian S5000 Championship. Career Mawson started his career in karting at the age of 7, and soon began to dominate the Junior karting scene, winning 19 state and 3 national titles between 2003 and 2012. Jannes Fittje (born 22 July 1999) is a German racing driver from Waltershausen and is currently driving in the 2019 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup for Team Project 1 - Fach. Career Karting Fittje enjoyed a successful karting career, winning in Germany and Europe. His first championship was in Germany at the age of 11 in 2011. Devlin DeFrancesco (born January 17, 2000, Toronto, ON) is a Canadian-Italian auto racing driver currently competing in the IndyCar Series for Andretti Steinbrenner Autosport. Richard Verschoor (born 16 December 2000) is a Dutch racing driver set to compete for Van Amersfoort Racing in the Formula 2 Championship.
