2018 Men's Asian Champions Trophy
The Hero Asian Champions Trophy 2018 was held at Muscat, Oman between October 18–28, 2018. It was the fifth edition of the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy, a field hockey tournament for the six best Asia, Asian national teams. This was announced by the Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) on 29 January 2018. The Oman Hockey Association hosted the tournament. The 5th edition of the biennial event took place at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. The tournament featured host nation Oman men's national field hockey team, Oman, Pakistan men's national field hockey team, Pakistan, Malaysia men's national field hockey team, Malaysia, India men's national field hockey team, India, South Korea men's national field hockey team, South Korea, and Japan men's national field hockey team, Japan. Hero MotoCorp, a global partner of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) and a long-term associate of the Asian Hockey Federation (AHF), were the title sponsor of the tournament. ...

England Hockey is the Sports governing body, national governing body for the sport of field hockey in England. There are separate governing bodies for the sport in the other parts of the United Kingdom. History and organisation England Hockey was formed on 1 January 2003 to replace the English Hockey Association (EHA) which had had to suspend operations in 2002 because of significant financial problems. Harmanpreet Singh
Harmanpreet Singh (born 6 January 1996) is an Indian field hockey player as well as the captain of the Indian national hockey team. He plays as a defender, is a penalty corner specialist, and is regarded as one of the best drag flickers in the world. He has scored the most number of international goals for India in modern day hockey. He led the team to clinch the bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. This was his second bronze in three appearances at the Olympics. Singh also captained the team to win a gold at the 2022 Asian Games. He has won the Player of the Year title at the FIH Awards thrice.
