Tim Huelskamp
Timothy Alan Huelskamp (; born November 11, 1968) is an American politician who was the U.S. representative for from 2011 to 2017. A member of the Republican Party, prior to entering Congress Huelskamp represented the 38th district of the Kansas Senate from 1997 until 2011. Known for his social conservatism, Huelskamp was the chairman of the House Tea Party Caucus from February 2015 until the end of his term on January 3, 2017. He was succeeded by Roger Marshall, who defeated him in the 2016 Republican primary. Early life and education Huelskamp was born on November 11, 1968, and raised on the Huelskamp family farm in Fowler, south of Dodge City. Fort Hays State University (FHSU) is a public university in Hays, Kansas, United States. It is the largest university in western Kansas, and the fourth largest of the six state universities governed by the Kansas Board of Regents, with a total enrollment of approximately 15,100 students. History FHSU was founded in 1902 as the Western Branch of Kansas State Normal School, which is now known as Emporia State University. The institution was originally located on the grounds of Fort Hays, a frontier military outpost that was closed in 1889. He has been given ratings of 67%, 75% and 83% from the American Conservative Union. Love is a Montezuma farmer, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Washburn University and an MBA from Fort Hays State University.
